When we first started the ruins, people found it weird that I’d always say “I love you” before leaving, saying goodbye, or even when I’d end a phone call... I think a part of it stems from the fact that the culture we live in makes HATING things and people come naturally to us, whereas LOVING has become counterintuitive for us instead... ironically, Jesus taught his disciples that the way we LOVE each other should become a staple by which all people should know that we follow Jesus. Sadly, I think people correlate hate (what we’re against, what we don’t agree with) with christians, more than what we are called to be known for — love... thanks #kanye
