Foxcroft Intense - decaying Leaves, Dry Leaves, Dirt, Wood Smoke, Fir Balsam, Cedar, Cypress Wood, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Vetiver, Rain, Bayberry and more
In the bottle, Foxcroft Intense smells distinctly of rain-soaked trees and wind-rustled green leaves. Under that, there's a faint sharpness of fresh soil.
On my skin, the perfume simply smells dirtier. The previously green leaves transform to orange and brown ones, now underfoot. The rain has turned the fresh soil into mud. The rain and wood notes manage to maintain a level of airy, green freshness, though. I have no better way to describe this perfume than to say it smells exactly like walking on mud and dead leaves during a light rain, while the wind chills your face.
Since I love it so much, I'm happy to say that the scent doesn't change much more after application. I've worn it all day multiple times and each time, it simply fades away as the day goes on.
Foxcroft Intense is an experience in the best way, in that it's able to transport me to dirty, rain-soaked fall no matter the weather. Being that fall is one of my favorite seasons, this is a holy grail scent for me year-round.
