A Dal Tadka recipe Below
Soak 1cup masoor Dal for 15 minutes, strain the water. Now add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric, salt.
For Tadka :
heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and fry for 20–30 seconds, or until fragrant, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, red dried chilies, chopped garlic, ginger.
Add the dal purée to the pan and stir well to combine.
