The one and only Ryan Tremble shares his band bio tonight... "Hi. I’m Ryan. I’m 6’2” and I’m a Scorpio. My ideal date would involve walking along a beach at sunset, sipping Pina Coladas, when all of a sudden; a massive tidal wave erupts in the distance. So massive, in fact, that it unearths the subterranean city that the survivors of the Titanic colonised after failing to be rescued over one-hundred years ago. The inbred troglodytes start crawling menacingly towards us; moaning with every agonising movement. Grabbing my leg, the chieftain cranes his neck up and cries out “I need about three-fifty!” It was at about this time that I realised the chieftain was the god-damned Loch Ness Monster!
Anyway… I started playing guitar in year seven and took to it straight away with lots of inspiration from our amazing music teacher Alex Ceroni and with guitar lessons from the wonderful Nigel Foote for many, many years. My first experience in a band was a brief stint with my musical partner-in-crime James Audet (and also future bass player for S4L, Lachlan Barker) which reached its peak playing at my mum’s 45th birthday party (who is our number one fan). I joined S4L after I had been searching for musicians to start a ska band with, and then, after realising that it’s really hard to find brass musicians, all of a sudden was asked to join an already formed band. I have a few other fantastic groups that I also play with and have taught me a metric crap-tonne of stuff; The Molotovs, The Shapelles and Therese West & Dave Tobin.
In conclusion, why did the scarecrow get a promotion? Because he told terrible jokes at our first gig and even has video proof of how terrible it was. (before you explode, the correct answer is "he was out standing in his field")" #bandbio #bandgoals #skaband #skamusic #band #australianband #aussiemusic #musiciansofinstagram #guitaristsofinstagram #skaband #aussieska #bluemountains #bluemountainsmusic #guitarist #livemusic #musicinthemountains #skapunk #musictoday #dailymusic
