Pretty much every weekend since moving to Massachusetts has been centered around house hunting. However, I’ve tried to get in some morning shoots while we are still in Cambridge. However, yesterday, I decided to venture out for sunrise to Witch City... Salem.
I got here just before 6:00 a.m. It was still pretty dark but the fisherman were just starting to set up. I decided to venture a bit away from the pier and onto the rocks. Being my first time here, I didn’t know the lay of the land even with my headlamp illuminating the terrain.
I made my way down the rocks closer to the water, each step becoming dicier than the previous. The final step I took, I slid and eventually slipped, tripod/camera in hand. When I fell, my tripod broke the fall and ultimately bent one of legs 😭 I was able to get it back in shape later on, but.... it’s still messed up. Gorgeous location though. The light beamed through just for a bit, even though the sun rose behind the clouds.
Prints are available for many of my images. Hit me up if interested! **
