TIPS SEPINGGAN YANG SIHAT .
Kita selalu kena ingat sifir makan ya. Wajib suku suku separuh. Hari tu Mai ada dengar ceramah kesihatan so nak share sikit dengan semua. >Suku- Nasi (Karbohidrat)
Nasi tu 1 senduk jer, bukan semangkuk tambah.
So jangan salah pilih sayur lagi ya.
Makanan yang sedap untuk tekak belum tentu baik untuk sel.

“Let my steps stay on your tracks, so that my feet will not stumble.” Now more than ever, I realize the importance of shedding light on the devastating effects that Chronic Lyme disease can have on someone’s life. During the height of my battle, sharing was very personal to me because there were so many unknowns and quite frankly very little of me to go around. With renewed health and vitality, it is my mission to share experience, strength and hope for those in the trenches. Every morning I am physically able to get out of bed (which is not always promised) I consider the ultimate blessing and privilege.
The fragility of remission keeps me on my toes and reminds me that there is a much higher purpose to this journey of spreading awareness.
Stay tuned for more on Living with Lyme and “Life after Lyme”. #somethinghealing #remission #lymediseaseawareness
Monday love from @thestrangersclubct
I found this quote when hubs and I went for breakfast there the other day ❤️ .
Usually I’m super motivated to workout after a week (hello healthy brownies 🙈) but I felt this coming yesterday. My ITB syndrome is back 🙁
This is definitely my own fault and I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for me 🙈 I’ve noticed my body does not love plyometrics as much as I love it. Also - not foam rolling is a pretty bad idea 💡 .
So mentally, I feel a little sorry for myself. I’ve been doing some weight training in the gym and it’s been going so well.
So I think this injury is worse mentally than it is physically. I do realize that if I don’t look after my body I’ll have to get surgery soon 🙁
So for some mental health- this is how to recover mentally from an injury:
🤗 Focus on positive things, keep a gratitude journal .
🤗 Try some meditation to keep your mind clear
🤗 Do recovery exercises (for me this will be foam rolling)
🤗 Think about recovery and how you will get back into exercising. Think about which exercises you will do if you can’t do the same exercises as before. .
🤗 If you feel ready, share your journey. Someone else might be going through the same thing you are going through .
🤗 When you’re all healed up, slowly ease into exercising again. Don’t be too hard on yourself 🌸

Who doesn’t love take out on a Friday night?! Some sweet and sour chicken was calling my name but I didn’t want to 1. leave my house (there’s wine there 🙄 and tv) and 2. didn’t want to eat a bunch of fried food or unnecessary junk that I didn’t know what it was 🤷🏻♀️. Instead I made my own sweet and sour chicken using almond flour to keep it gluten free and baking it to keep it more heart healthy. Totally putting this into rotation, feels so naughty 👹 but it is oh so good 😊! After I fell WAY off track with my workouts and nutrition in July, I had major do-over with my fitness and nutrition.⠀
In 9 weeks, I’ve lost 7.6 lbs, 2% body fat, and 5.4 inches. I did this WITHOUT dieting, counting calories, counting macros or eliminating any food groups. I toned up and gained muscle even though I was only training at home 4x week.⠀
Different methods work for different people. I value my body and my health, but I just can’t commit to long hours training or extreme/complex diets. I am a busy mom - I need simple! Simple does not mean easy, because anything worth having takes WORK. But make no mistake, simple can be extremely effective in helping you follow through with your goals, get results, and build healthy habits. ⠀
If you’d like to learn more about the plan that helped me get these results, drop a comment below or send me a message. I’m going to be re-starting this again after I get back from my Disney vacation. I would love to have more people in it with me for accountability and motivation!! 🙌
My health journey began when I was in 7th grade. I was standing in my choir class, minding my own business in the alto section (even though all the “cool” girls were sopranos 🙄), when I suddenly doubled over in pain. I embarrassingly hobbled to the nurses office and tried to explain to her what I felt, and ended up laying on the cold floor looking at the ceiling because that’s all that felt comfortable. That was my first ever acid reflux attack - and later that week my doctor put me on Zantac. Throughout middle school and high school I had these attacks OFTEN. I carried Zantac in my purse and my backpack, and dealt with heartburn or acid reflux every damn day. It was terrible. Alsooooo I was drinking chai tea lattes (with eggnog during the holidays) almost every day, so I was also dealing with major gastrointestinal issues as well. The tag line of my life was, “My stomach hurts so bad right now!”
Fast forward to when I was 22. I was still dealing with all this ish when I was introduced to a “Paleo” type diet. I gave up gluten and dairy and went on a high powered HCA (hydrochloric acid) supplement to take at meal times, and within a MONTH every symptom of my digestive issues was gone. I was blown away. And guess what? I’ve gotten acid reflux ONCE since then. Once. 😂
My doctor told me that I was getting heartburn and acid reflux because I had too MUCH stomach acid. Turns out it was because I didn’t have ENOUGH. 🤦🏻♀️ Zantac is an acid blocker, it actually prohibits your body from producing very necessary stomach acid. So the very medicine they gave me to make it better, was making it worse and making me sicker by the dose. Ugh.
Can anyone relate? Been failed by modern medicine? Misinformed by doctors? Trying to find a better way now? I totally get you. I’ve been there. This is one of MANY topics we will be discussing in the Abound course and I’m so excited to share all other other health misnomers we have been taught. Cause there are MANY! But now I’m walking into the weekend like the girl in this pic, not a care in the world and no heartburn in sight 🙅🏻♀️🤣 Happy Friday everyone!
