Friday mornings in Spring are best spent outside with nature.
This morning, we visited or local nursery and selected a range of larger pots for our "indoor outdoor porch" plant gang and some thrive for our flowering plants.
The garden and all that it entails is so therapeutic especially at the end of the week, who's with me on this?
Wishing you a lovely end to the week 💕🌱🌼 .
Lovely fresh pickings from the garden this morning... I just love bringing fresh flowers and bouquets into the home... Ranunculus look so much like roses (and without the thorns!) #cutflowerpatch #growyourownflowers #ranunculus

Rachel should never have gotten off the plane; welcome to my Ted talk

I’m sitting at my gate with an hour to go before we board. So glad I have had a week in the Western Cape seeing friends and more family as well as the sights and sounds. Long night and day ahead. I’ll be home tomorrow night 🇿🇦🇺🇸

The only room in the house that needs no work. (Technically a lie because I want new tiles for the floor, but really they're fine). I'm so pleased that the previous owners chose this kitchen and tile combo. I would never have thought to go for sage green but I LOVE it! And the kitchen is @ikeauk
would you believe it? We also have a belfast sink 🙌 (Also the Le Creuset totally doesn't stay there, but Instagram 🙋🏻♀️🙈) #sweetmondayhome
Trošku nízko a hodně daleko. // Fascinated by planes? Then you're probably a wild heart... ✈️
Today is the last hot day in the forecast and then the highs will be in the 60’s for the foreseeable future. Perfection in my book! Just in time for the Fall Equinox on Sunday and the Harvest Moon on Monday. I’m so excited for the crisp mornings. This weekend wraps up my husband’s final event of the season and next week we can finally settle in at home and enjoy Fall officially arriving. We have a trip to the countryside planned to pick up some pumpkins and mums. Can’t wait! 🎃
I’d like to go back here one day - beautiful #lakecrescent
from my summer road trip
Yesterday was just magical 🌿 I spent the day up in Herefordshire @broadfield_court
for the September Spry collaborative workshop with Melissa and Debbie @twistedsisters_floraldesign
and Brigitte @mossandstonefloraldesign
🌿 You may have seen more in my stories. Styling with the most inspiring props and colourful seasonal blooms was pure joy and working alongside such a talented and creative team that worked so hard to make the magic happen. Thank you @matthew_walsh_photography
for sharing your knowledge and @safiapixie
for modelling here so beautifully

I love the seasonal shifts. I tend to use them as a checkpoint, a moment to notice how I’ve been spending my time, to set intentions to change anything necessary, and to allow myself a new beginning. Many people do this around New Years, but I love to use each season to make sure I’m on my best path. Do you use the seasonal markers as a prompt for something??
This weekend, when the calendar flips over from summer to autumn, it will mark two years living in England. Alex took this photo one impossibly gorgeous autumnal afternoon on a walk at @clivedenhouse
estate not long after we arrived. I remember standing there in falling, fluttering leaves, smiling non-stop. I still love it and all it captures of that time in our lives; I can remember the giddy excitement of having arrived in England, the stunning colours of the countryside as autumn unfolded, the unadulterated quality time Alex and I were spending together as we divided our days between exploring and settling into a routine in a new country. For all those reasons and more, early autumn is a special time for us. It’s our favourite time to get outdoors and blow the cobwebs away, to wander country estates, to take off for weekends in corners of the countryside still unvisited. And with that in mind, I’m off to pack woollens & wellingtons for a suitably windy and wild autumnal weekend in Wales 🍂
Уже 3 поста этого человека не было тут 😮 Вот вам 😁 Живёт счастливой садиковской жизнью ☀️ Я чуть-чуть завидую 😄
Happy 27th Birthday to my girly @theamazinglifeofrae
🎉 a few weeks ago we went on a night out to celebrate both our birthdays but tonight we are heading off into Cardiff again for round two! 💛
Admittedly, I took this photo without much thought. Cute stairs 😍. Good for the gram📲. But then I decided to look up the quote in full:
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” - Steve Jobs
I like the idea of having a little faith, a feeling that you’re on the right path or doing something substantial that doesn’t have to feel so big in the moment. It’s about all the little things that you can look back on and say, “it was meant to happen this way”. I often think back to when I first met Joe. It felt like it could have been the most complicated relationship of my life, dating someone overseas. But it felt right and well, look at my life now from one decision. It’s interesting the way things work out, isn’t it? Have you ever had one of those moments in your life? ✨
🍎 Enough said, right? I love ‘em! I like them all year long but especially when they’re filled with red apples in the early autumn. I can’t get enough. 🍎 How are things on your end? Got apples? Make a pie yet?
Quite a long time since I have posted a picture on Instagram or written a blog post. Hello, are you still here?
For my Birthday this year, I am choosing to share some valuable insights on my blog. Insights that I wish someone shared with me a year or two ago. Insights that have made things seem possible and doable in a meaningful and sustainable way.
28 insights to be precise as I just turned 28 today. (If that wasn't obvious enough). You'd think you'd have 'things' figured out when you are this old but nope, that's not how it's working. I still don't have all of my ducks in a row :)
I've been meaning to pen them down for quite a while now but I was terrified to do so. I still am, to some extent. But that's a discussion for another day. I am sharing all the personal insights that I have gained so far as a multi-passionate creative going through the process of self-discovery and learning to live my "must" instead of a long list of "shoulds". #choosemust
It's more like a pep-talk that I myself need on a constant basis. If you are a creative going through self-discovery process, finding your unique voice and building a sustainable business, you'll find the insights helpful. You can read the blog post via a direct link on my profile.
Do you have any of your own to share? Comment below and share if you have already figured life out or not. I can't be the only one hanging out around here. Am I?
