Today’s no knead bread made the house smell so great (again). This was a slightly tweaked version of Jim Lahey’s recipe: 3 cups AP flour, ½ tsp yeast, 1½ tsp salt and 1½ cups water. 18 hours to rise, then another 1 hour on the counter while the oven pre-heats to 425 degrees with a cast iron Dutch oven inside. 30 minutes to bake lid on and then 10 more lid off. I’ve been working on a whole wheat version and I promise to write the recipe up in the next few days (or weeks... 🙄). #nokneadbread #needbread
