Never invest in expectations...
Rockerfeller Center is one of the spots in New York that I was glad to be able to visit during the dusk hours. I think that this photo will probably show why, especially how the trees are lit and the colours in the flags seemed to come out a little better in the evening light.
In the area below the flags the ice rink was in full swing at the time of my visit with plenty of people on the ice. Something I was not quite ready to give a try considering that I have hardly ever even put on a pair of roller skates let alone ice skates.
The one thing that caught my attention most in this location, which is not in the photo though is the nearby LEGO store. It is the first one that ever got to visit and except for the fact that I was so far from home likely would have done a little shopping.

I’m so happy I’ve gotten this week to just relax and sleep in and catch up on movies and tv shows I’ve missed or need to catch up on.
Also I have a bunch of appointments to catch up on, one being the dentist. As I’ve always been afraid of the dentist, I haven’t been in a couple years and now I have a bunch of work to do. So just a reminder to keep brushing, flossing, and have regular check ups. Your body is delicate, so take care of it!
Another late night at the office that does not disappoint 😍 I take every chance I get to visit Hague.
We are excited to welcome a great new beer to our line-up at RBQ: the Hot Whip IPA by Buried Acorn Brewing Company! Buried Acorn is a new brewery in Syracuse that showcases unique barrel-aged farmhouse and sour ales. They also offer some hopped up options for all you IPA lovers, including the one we currently have on tap here at the restaurant. We're so pumped for this great addition to the local brewing scene! You can visit their tap room seven days a week to try a variety of their delicious brews. In the meantime, pair the Hot Whip with some BBQ during your next trip to see us!🍻
Fall is right around the corner! 🍂 Find the unknown paths around New York State that you’ll have to see to believe. #NYLovesFall
With desserts this pretty, how do you choose? 🌸From the top moving clockwise: the fresh berry tart, chocolate bread pudding and our creme brûlée.
The river rolls and the river winds,
And it seems to do something for my peace of mind
Deep greens and blues are the colors I choose.
Being in the big apple is a photo heaven 🇺🇸🇺🇸
"I like to draw a lot. That's something I don't tell people about, but I do draw and I like art. It's not something I express a lot. It's just something that's relaxing to pass the time, and I like that you can like emulate life on a piece of paper, that's my favorite thing to do. I like comic books so I like drawing comic books— I like how they are realism but they're not exactly real life— they're realistic but cartoonistic at the same time and that's my favorite kind of art style." 👟: @vans
