Another view of Shiprock. New Mexico. USA.
Snowy roads, stormy skies, and sunset glow. What’s not to love? ✨
We had to wade Chaco awash to get back and to and from Penasco Blanco. The water was frigid - and felt so great! With @drlilapetitt
It’s been a minute since we’ve hiked Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks. This magical photo by @away_i_flew
inspires a visit!
Need me some organs. Taking boy wonder with me tomorrow morning, and he's bringing his camera too. Going to be fun!
When my fiancé and I were dating, we decided it was best for the foundation and growth of our relationship if we attended the same church - never did I think that Annex would have such an impact on my life. At first, the messages were relatable. Then, after being invited to start serving with the Host Team, the messages became overwhelmingly applicable to my everyday life. I heard and understood God’s Word differently, more clearly.
I’ve been going to church since I was a little kid, but I didn’t know what it truly meant to be A PART of the church until I started SERVING at Annex.
I’ve gained community, friendships, and a family in a way that I never expected. Knowing that I’ve got them by my side and a big God in front of me to navigate this life has me more excited and confident than ever!
Analisa, is a dedicated, hard worker who shows up EVERY Sunday to lead her team and make everyone who walks through the door at Annex feel welcome. We appreciate her and feel so happy to call her family!
Chaco Canyon. New Mexico. USA
hiding from the wind at Chaco Canyon’s Penasco Blanco, an ancestral Puebloan great house in NW New Mexico. I first came to Chaco when I was 15. I come back almost every year. I’ve hiked every trail countless times, explored the back country and worked all around there. Despite its dark history, it’s one of my favorite places on earth.
I found better sledding in the desert than I did in 24 years of living in the Midwest...
One more of my steaming hot wife soaking it up before we busted out on our next trek. @drlilapetitt
getting a good soak after all our hiking. We took a few kid-free days and road tripped around the north western part of the state. Mostly it was a series of long hiking trips interspersed with some driving. Heaven to just be out on the land.
Many peaceful hours hiking in the mesas above Ojo Caliente. @drlilapetitt
and myself. Joseph’s Mica Mines.
The sunset that I photographed at New Mexico’s White Sands National Monument was pretty nice. I have a big panorama to stitch together after I return home.
Better places than before
