My appetite is still on the mend, but my stomach has been able to hold onto soup+rice last night, and a smoothie+a few bites of chicken today, so I’m on the upswing. Along with running errands, I was able to move my body today by doing yoga and a short Pilates workout. There are a few other stimulants but no one is as powerful as the holy caffeine. . 👉So why pre-workouts are way more effective of a cup of coffee? Because they contains 3 or 4 time more caffeine of an average coffee. Running on from my little story this morning, I wanted to dive in a little bit into “fat burners”. Do they work? Long story, short - no. At least, not in the way they’re often advertised. - - So, you’re probably curious, if they don’t work, why would I use them? Or advise people to use them? Few reasons. - - 1) I hate coffee. Well. I love the smell, I love making coffee, I just can’t stand the taste. Far too bitter for me, so “fat burners” are a great alternative to get that caffeine hit in the AM where I would otherwise drink coffee. So in this line, due to the caffeine, it is a stimulant. This will increase your energy and reduce tiredness (depending on your tolerance level). - - 2) It can aid in appetite suppressant. Research on this seems to be inconclusive on whether caffeine has an effect on appetite. However, personally, I do find my hunger levels when I do have a fat burner or when I don’t are different. Whether this is due to the fat burner itself, simply drinking more water, or placebo - who knows. But for me, it works. - - 3) It tastes good. - - So, to round up - can a fat burner be useful? Absolutely. Is it necessary? Nope. If you want an alternative to coffee, something to help you drink more water in the morning, an energy boost and potentially experience less hunger, then a fat burner may be something worth looking into. - - I personally use Oxyshred due to the B vitamin complex, the more mild caffeine dosage (I double scoop anyway), and it tastes gosh darn amazing (especially mango). Uno de los ejercicios más conocidos es la SENTADILLA y además de sus muchas variantes hay dos formas principales de trabajar este movimiento: usando un peso libre o usando una máquina que guíe el levantamiento. Aquí una comparación entre ambas.... . ⚠IMPORTANTE⚠ A pesar de que se escucha mucho que "Es más seguro hacer sentadillas en máquina porque evita lesiones" esto es falso❌ (https://powerexplosive.com/cuando-realizar-ejercicios-en-multipower/) al ser un movimiento poco natural, los músculos estabilizadores sobre todo del Core (abdominales y parte central del cuerpo) no realizan su función lo cual genera gran tensión en la zona lumbar o espalda baja. Manejar pesos altos en máquina no es recomendable pues resulta más peligroso/lesivo. . Si se le quiere sacar partido a las pocas bondades del trabajo de sentadilla en Multipower, lo ideal es incluir algunas series al final del trabajo de cuádriceps con un peso ligero y repeticiones altas (12 - 25 reps). O bien, reemplazarlo por Sentadilla Sissy😉
