I’m glad I can draw to a certain extent, it can be therapeutic but at the same time frustrating. Trying to get out a picture from your mind onto the page perfectly is extremely difficult. Spirited away, one of my faves “no face” ( tho the first introduction to no face actually scared me but when chirihiro ( <— I probably spelt her name wrong, please excuse my dyslexia) took no face away from the bath house then I realised that actually, no face was being effected by the people he was surrounded by. that’s why he acted like a monster in the bath house. In a little way he’s similar to medusa Greek mythology, a very misunderstood character. The story I heard about medusa which I’ll tell you guys her story in more detail on another post is that mainly how people’s jealousy and possessiveness actually turnt her into the monster with snakes as hair and the eyes capable to turn those she looked at into stone but she never did any wrong. I feel like medusa was actually treated extremely unfairly. The reason why I say these two are similar tho is because they were both effect by people. Them their selves aren’t bad. The people they were surrounded by turnt them bad. I hope I explained that well.) and of course the adorable “soot balls”. #spiritedaway #sootballs #noface #artwork #art #sketchbook #sketch
.......what can i say.
Sometimes I can pull together a little something something and feel like I’m hip I’m with it 😎😂 don’t mind the foreign substance on my sweater - I think it’s an aura 😳😉
Once you meet someone, you never really forget them. 🎌✨ I’m taking the weekend off so here’s a collage of some Spirited Away hoops I made last year. Spirited Away was the first Studio Ghibli film I ever saw and changed my life forever. I’m so glad that I finally got the opportunity to see it on the big screen this past fall.
