’s Asian Almond Chicken Salad kind of night. I needed something easy, refreshing, and light for dinner. I was also in need of some veggies this week! Don’t you ever have cravings for veggies when you don’t eat them for a while? Anywho, I made some tweaks to the recipe (because I can 😋) - used cilantro instead of basil, added oranges, and for the dressing it was too salty from the fish sauce so I added more applesauce, coconut aminos, sesame oil and s&p. Best served with warm chicken. What are you having for dinner tonight?
“Boy Bawang Cornick” Salt & Vinegar —
Similar to Corn Nuts, but less of a... tough crunch? A light crispiness. I love vinegar so wanted to give this a try. The garlic and vinegar flavors are there, but it had a... sweetness in it... that I didn’t really like. I think I’ll continue to stick to the Chili Cheese flavor “Boy Bawang” has for my cornick craving. That one is yummm. And for some Salt & Vinegar loving, “Oishi” Ribbed Cracklings is BOMB.

I came home from the gym STARVING!!! This is what I threw in my face. Mixed greens, hard boiled egg, hemp seeds, apple, and rainbow trout (caught by my stud muffin husband in his last Idaho trip). #nomnomnom
So I did a thing... Greek Cauliflower bowl with lamb meatballs, Bulgarian feta (always get feta made with sheepsmilk!), English cucumber, and homemade tzatziki sauce (garlicky yogurt sauce for the meat) and homemade Israeli Skhug (spicy green sauce). Inspired once again by @zoeskitchen
! I'm no chef by any means- just an amateur that likes to try and recreate healthy dishes at home through trial and error and Google, of course. My meatballs were hideously ugly and all different sizes... 😂😂 but who cares. It is all about the taste! This dish is high on veggies with a small portion of meat and full of fresh mediterannean flavor. This one was fun to make!

BLVD’s SOUTHERN DINNER! Pan fried cat-fish, served with smoked turkey collards and and southern potato salad. The sauces that came with are a tartar sauce and African fire sauce (I found out why try call it that even though my server warned me ahead of time). Everything tasted so good. #sonofdimsum @sonofdimsum

⭐️ Another one of my OG favorites in Singapore 🇸🇬 The chili crab is a must-order at this restaurant, but for me it wasn’t so much the crab that has me hooked, but it was the deep-fried mantou buns (separate order) dipped with its eggy chili sauce - really something else 👍🏻 #VariHungry
