maaaybe one of the best things I’ve ever made. definitely top 5 and it’s all about the SAUCE. honestly, the other ingredients don’t matter much. I used what I had laying around—bean sprouts, snow peas, chicken I meal prepped on Monday, & a handful of TJ’s cauliflower gnocchi. BUT THIS SAUCE...hold the phone 📱 •
Spicy Sesame Sauce
In a bowl, combine 3 Tbsp coconut aminos, 1/2 tsp sesame oil, dash of rice wine vinegar, 2 tsp fish sauce, 2 tsp sriracha, pinch of salt. Add to stir fry mixture and let warm. •
In another small bowl, mix 1/4 cup water with 1/2 Tbsp arrowroot starch to make a slurry. Add to stir fry and let the sauce thicken. Eat ‘er up and try not to smack those lips. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

the never ending pregnancy cravings strike again! this time, with cookies. not just any cookie, my all time super boring favorite, classic chocolate chip. I generally whip up my gluten free/paleo version—but the thought of cleaning the food processor was quickly giving me minor anxiety. one bowl cookies it was! I played around with a traditional gluten filled recipe—I added coconut sugar and chopped up 70% dark chocolate instead of regular chips because that’s what I had on hand. so whole wheat chocolate chunk cookies with sea salt were born! Satisfying? Of course. Leftovers? Unfortunately, yes. Anyways, my craving was demolished and I got to eat cookies!💥

almond butter 😍😍 WHY is nut butter the perfect snack??
It’s full of healthy fats, protein, and fiber, all of which give you sustainable energy and keep you full! Everyone is different, but I personally feel my best eating more fat and less carbs in my daily diet, so it’s the perfect lower carb snack 🙌🏻
And it can always be paired with carbs like rice cakes, fruit, oatmeal, etc if you prefer more carbs in your diet 😜 You need some fats and protein with them to make them more satisfying and prevent that blood sugar spike!
I prefer raw or sprouted almond butter to peanut butter because it has twice as much fiber and micronutrients, and the high temperature roasting of the peanuts destroys their healthy monounsaturated fats (also true for roasted almond butters!!). Peanuts also contain a carcinogenic mold called aflatoxin 🙀 Fine to have every once and awhile, but almonds are much better if nut butter is a daily staple for you like it is for me!
