So for today's edition of #FridayIntroductions
! I figured I'd kick it off with a Back to School theme. In Kindergarten, my teacher had her own take on creative introductions. Our parents were instructed to send us to school with a baby picture that would play on a slideshow as she read aloud our favorite things and classmates played a version of Guess Who gone wrong. Being the only person of color, the second my picture popped up, a class full of glue eaters and bad guessers instantly turned into baby geniuses. I mean... it wasn't that hard to figure out who I was.
I must admit it was pretty neat to hear my name said in unison...except for the one kid who thought the "h" in my name was silent and called me La "Santa" all year. Something tells me my face looked a bit like the picture to this post the entire day. But let's be honest, I'm always kind of making this face. So, if you've ever been offended by my facial expressions, I can't help it. Maybe I'm moody; maybe I was born with it.
Speaking of back to school, I'm happy that is not in my routine (for a while). MBA May 2018! It's back to business for me. This year I'm striving to work in and alongside a diverse community and serve diverse clients and businesses. Also, if you are still wondering what in the world I'm doing, I've finally figured it out and can't wait to share. I promise I do work. I'm not a money launder. The thought of laundering anything exhausts me.
