✝️ A question I get asked all the time: why are you wearing your wedding ring on the wrong hand? I’m Greek Orthodox Christian and in my religion, once you are married at the alter, your rings get switched to being in the right hand because we believe Jesus sits at the right hand of the father. We mimic as much as possible. I got lucky enough to find a partner in life who is SO open and and embracing and adaptable and understanding of who I am, that he too wears his ring on the right hand even though he is Catholic. We have always been more traditional. Never had a first look, never lived with each other before getting married. Wasn’t easy, but walking down the aisle and seeing my husband for the first time waiting for me, was so worth it all. He even wears the Greek Orthodox prayer bracelet! Wore it on our wedding day and had never taken it off, to this day. So to sum up, no we’re not wearing our rings on the wrong hand, in fact, to us, it’s right! 😇 .
