I don't have any good Alaska photos to share with you yet since any time I'm taking pictures it's with my camera and not my phone, so I'm sharing this photo from one of our trips to Montana since the scenery is similar.
For those of you that don't know, I flew into Fairbanks five days ago to join Justin on his motorbike ride down through Alaska and Canada. Justin and his dad already rode all the way up and Justin's mom just joined as well for the trip down.
During the last five days we've tackled rain and mud on the Dalton Highway trying to reach the Arctic Circle, paid over $5 a gallon for fuel just past the Yukon River, been attacked by clouds of bloodthirsty mosquitoes, seen five moose and a couple of Dall sheep, camped next to three German guys who are also riding motorbikes through Alaska (one of them started from Louisiana!), and marveled at the fact that there's almost 24 hours of sunlight a day in these parts. Tomorrow we're going to do some exploring in Denali National Park. Loads more photos and stories to come 😊
