Keep your eye on the ball and not just in game time.
Practicing with all of the sunlight this weekend has got me sooooo stoked for California on Sunday🙌🏼
J A N A E 😍
Just a reminder to everyone that all of my prices are going up February 1st! Anyone who books before that date will still get discounted prices, so if I were you I would take advantage of that! Have a lovely day 🤗
Meet the Grace in @jacquelinegrace.c
Evelyn Grace was the first friend I made in college. From our first volleyball practice together, to long drives through the city of Portland or in the Beaverton countryside, Evie has been such an inspiration to me. She deeply cares for people, and has an eye for artistry. I am always inspired to create after spending time with Evie, and her work had the same effect on me. If you want to be inspired on the daily, check out @jacquelinegrace.c
I get asked a lot about why I named my business “Rue Photography” when my name is Adrie. Well, lemme tell ya:
My parents & siblings have called me Rue before I can even remember. It’s that simple😅 What’s your most memorable nickname from childhood!??
This little lake always reminds me of the Arthurian tales; The lady of the lake & Nimue, even though it's here in the sunny northwest of England.
Bit of #mondaymotivation
needed today ....walks like this are smack bang in the middle of Bolton !
So thankful for a day of rest, and getting to start that day with a likeminded and loving community who helps me refocus on my goals for each day and keeps my mind & soul open to what God is doing around me. Also starting the weekend with the most beautiful sunrises has been a major plus this week! Hope you’ve all had a rejuvenating weekend 🤗
Managed to squeeze a walk this afternoon in-between all this heavy rain. Safe to the say the paths took a real battering! You can't beat getting the old walking boots on though and getting outdoors!
I am absolutely LOVING these sunny few days that we are having to break up the moodiness that sets in so quietly with the rain. Looking to shoot every night of sunshine that I can, so if you’re down for a last minute photoshoot through this Tuesday let me know and let’s adventure!
Tonight with @luciaamariaaa
was so relaxing and fun to just stroll along the Ireland-esq. hills of the Columbia River and get creative.
Sooooo apparently I only have photos of my hair covering my face or of the back of my head and when my face is showing my eyes are always crossed 😅 Looks like it’s time for this girl to get some new headshots taken! Here is part two of my “get to know me” poll from my story.
5 things you probably didn’t know about me:
1. My favorite color is yellow (and there is a special story behind that).
2. I am an enneagram two✌🏼 Where all my enneagram enthusiasts at!?
3. Travel photography is my dream.
4. I was a barista for a while but I am allergic to coffee.
5. Rollerblading, hiking, swimming, anything outdoors is my thing, rain or shine!
Based on these 5 things, do we have anything in common? Let me know in the comments!👇🏼
We’re moving along in January.
“Still this hurried mind
Slow this furrowed brow
Bring Your Heaven song
To my mouth somehow
With the rising sun
Until night has come
I will bless Your name
For all that You have done
And hear me say, yes and amen
Tomorrow You’ll be faithful again”

I got a few varied questions from my story poll, so I’m going to answer them in two separate posts: a photography post & a fun fact post. I found photography at a young age with my first Polaroid digital camera in middle school. I remember saving up for it and buying it with my sister. Then I got a little red Canon point and shoot digital camera in high school (I think?). From a young age I was enamored by God’s endless beauty in the world and freezing it in time as I saw it in that moment so that I could share it later on, because goodness and beauty were meant to be shared right? As I grew older and experienced hardships in my personal life, my eyes were opened to the beauty of God’s creation of humans, and the bond that we share. I got my first DSLR my freshman year of college and started capturing that beauty every chance I could get. I could talk about that for days, but that’s the intro to my journey as a photographer 🌿 What do love, what are your passions, and why? Tell me below because I want to get to know you!
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” Thanks for the quote inspiration to start out my day @createdfemale
. Yesterday I invested in some marketing education, and today I begin putting it to use. I can’t wait to see how my business fully forms into my brand, and how my vision begins to showcase my passion. Thank you Jesus for such a unique opportunity and a public space in which to share your gifts! Have a beautiful day everyone. #90daysofmarketing
