Weights are THE most important part of gymming. You must've heard most of the athletes and the fitness lovers saying that they love to lift weights and even heavy lifting.
Want to gain weight, lift. Want to lose, lift. Want to build muscles, lift. Any fuckin goal, LIFT!!! The only thing that varies is Nutrition. I've myself been lifting weights from approx 3 years now. And the wonders they have done to my body are amazing and noticable. It feels good when people (who have known me, who know me and even strangers) come to me and compliment me about how I look. It feels amazing TBH. When you're appreciated for something you love doing and the results are visible. Brownie points 🤭
I'm, myself, working as a personal fitness trainer from past few months now. The things I experience on The daily basis are pretty exciting and sometimes weird too. When females say they don't wanna do weight training or heavy weight training. Why? Cuz it'll make them look like a man. 🤔 HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?
Lift heavy weights? I don't wanna look like a man.
Do bicep curls? I don't wanna grow giant biceps.
Do chest press? I don't want to ruin my bust.
Do shoulder press? I don't want my shoulders to be broad like a man.
Bleh bleh bleh, and the list goes on and on...
We, as a women, need to get over this psychology that lifting weights makes women huge. No SweetHeart, lifting a large pizza every single day and fitting it directly into your mouth makes you huge. Junk makes you huge. Bad Nutrition makes you huge. Chocolates make you huge. Alcohol consumption every weekend makes you huge.
Make weights your best friend and see how they reward you💕
