So last night I ate half of the chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting from @ohmyketo and it’s sooo rich there is no way to eat the whole thing. Which is great because I was worried with the high macros at first not realizing that it’s actually pretty genius because you can be very satisfied with half of them. Thumbs up to @oh my keto on that plan. But I did feel that right out of the fridge was not the best way to eat it as it was really solid and hard. I left the other half out on the counter all night and had it this afternoon. (Last pic) and wow that was perfect! Still very satisfying with only half and room temp is the perfect way to eat it. Really cold today so fancied some proper comfort food. Made bangers and mash using @sainsburys be good Cumberland sausages and OMG they’re delicious. They’re 50% less fat so only 1 syn each and actually taste like a normal banger, not dry and plasticky like diet ones do usually. I used 10g of gravy for 2 syns and 0.5 syns worth of @tescofood reduced sugar mint sauce. My only syns so far today, so might treat myself to a gin later! 😏🙃

THIS BURGER IS VEGAN 😱 So I have a question for vegans and anyone else following a particular diet - how would you feel if it wasn’t vegan, or didn’t fit with your diet plans, and you ate it? __ What would you do? Would you eat it, enjoy it and then carry on with your life? Or would you conclude - following this ‘mistake’ - that you’re just not ‘perfect’ enough to succeed with whatever diet it is that you’re on? __ Diets and perfectionism often go hand in hand. It’s why ‘cheat days’ exist, because being 100% perfect all of the time is unattainable and leaves us feeling deflated - which in turn pushes us towards giving up and returning to our old eating habits. __ I’m here to tell you it’s OK. There’s no such thing as a perfect vegan. There’s no such thing as a perfect eater. When you do eat something unhealthy or non-vegan, remind yourself of all those other times that you HAVE succeeded. I am cutting soda out for 30 day for many many reasons. I could drink 2 to 3 sodas a day and not have a problem. I am also cutting way back on coffee, but I don't need to cut it out of my life because I don't have it every day. Plus, it's coffee... Anyway, have y'all tried this?! My husband loves it. I thought why not, it has B12, 0 sugar, multivitamin, and hydration. You mix it in 16 to 20oz of water and it should last 4 to 6 hours. Guys....I can't! Two drinks and I wanted to vomit!
