Finally made down the road it to @birch_bristol yesterday evening with my housmates and it did not dissapoint. They reccomend three of their small plates per person to share and we ordered three each but didn't share so had a three course meal (plus pudding) and it was delicious (you can eat past the point of fullness sometimes and still eat intuitively). The artichoke dish was amazing and had a creamy but not rich aoili sauce with a delicate chilli oil - probably my favourite dish. The salmon was beautiful and came with Cucumber (my fave) pickle. The hash was so tasty. The mulled wine poached pear was a light but sweet and fruity way to finish with crunchy caramlasied almonds and mascapone. Today I want to explain to you why do-it-yourself diets are not going well. I bring you a practical example of a "day of diet". This diet is 1500 Kcal and is perfectly balanced for macronutrients. A little over 5 miles in the bag this morning for PMSF UK Marathon Training. My GPS didn't track properly so my app didn't coach me on my speed either.. lol I had no idea how fast (or slow) I was going. Pacing is really important when marathon training because I have a specific pace I am working towards (13 mins per mile) this is 5 mins per mile faster than I finished Brighton with. 13 mins per mile is my half marathon pace usually so as you can tell I have really upped my game 😱 . Pra fazer o ovo mexido é só colocar os ovos usei 4, na frigideira no fogo baixo e ir mexendo pra não ficar “duro”, jogar a mussarela usei 20h, e depois continuar mexendo sem parar até , deixar em fogo baixo sempre e esperar chegar no ponto desejado. . . Ingredients For the base 1/2 cup of Brazil nuts 1/2 cup of dates 1 tbsp of coconut oil Peanut Butter layer 2 tbsp peanut butter 1 cup of dates 1/2 cup of agave or maple syrup 1 cup of raw cashews that have been soaked overnight in water 3 tbps of water 1/2 tsp of sea salt Jam Layer 1tbsp of Agave 200g of Raspberries 2tbsp of chia seeds . Method Base Line your muffin tins with parchment paper Blend all the ingredients together until well combined. You may want to do this on a high speed. Once combined, press the mixture into your muffin tins and place in the freezer to set . Peanut Butter Layer Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend on a high speed. Keep blending the mixture until thick, make sure you scrape down the sides and add water if the mixture is sticky. This may take about 5 minutes. Remove your tin from the freezer and spread the mixture evenly across the base. Place back in the freezer for atleast an hour to set . Jam layer In a medium saucepan bring the raspberries to a low boil. Make sure you keep stirring. Once they start to boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the berries are slightly soft. Mash the berries lightly, but leave some chunks for the jam texture. stir in the agave, chia seeds and continue to cook on a low heat for 5 minutes. Keep stirring so the mixture doesn't stick to the bottom Remove from the heat, stir and let the jam cool at room temperature. Once set, take your muffin tin out of the freezer. Spoon the jam mixture on top of the peanut butter layer and spread evenly. Place in the freezer to set for a further hour Once set, serve and enjoy! or keep them in the freezer until you want them 🙌🏻💋
