Happy almost summer!!! I wanted to share some pictures from an amazing day spent in Brooklyn with some good friends @root_wellness @angelicax3k
One thing to know about me is I am a huge foodie 😋🍴 and spent my early college days practicing culinary arts eating and trying everything!
Coming into the nutrition world I definitely had to learn how to moderate certain foods and I don't cook as decadently as I used to. Let's face it, we can't "treat ourselves" every weekend and expect our bodies to function or look the same 🤷🏽♀️. However! I still enjoy myself (plus am much more active) because I don't want to look back and think, "I could have ate that..." 💔
So, I plan accordingly! Looking at June, I have a trip coming up that I want to be in best possible shape for 👙 but I also had my birthday, my brothers birthday, my friends birthdays, my aunts birthday, graduations, etc... 🤯 if I chose to indulge at EVERY event, I certainly would be moving farther and farther away from my goals
So I chose my big indulgence for my birthday like I do every year (and kept my butt in the gym!) I went to #SmorgasbordWilliamsburg
and had some really amazing (gluten and dairy-free) foods🤩🥳. •
And now back to it !! Currently fueling up for a nice leg day 💪🏽 No regrets 😛🤙🏽
