This squash and yogurt bowl was everything I never knew that I needed. Loaded it up with some @lees.provisions
ghee and cinnamon infused butternut squash, pomegranate, and pumpkin seeds to feel extra festive 💚. Side note- pay attention to which spices you are grabbing though lol 😂. Because just this past week I went to reach for what I thought was cinnamon and ended up being chili powder. Luckily the smell gave it away after I used it and I managed to wipe it off and add cinnamon. It was actually a good reminder to try and not be on auto pilot and be a little more mindful. There are so many things demanding our attention all day every day, but where we put our focus matters as that is where energy flows.

I’ve had a few people say ‘how lucky I am’ to have ‘gone back to my original size’ after having Gray.
Well I don’t think I’m lucky as such, I worked really hard during pregnancy to keep really active. Not because I’m weight obsessed just because I love being active. I’m also a Pilates instructor so my core is pretty good so no doubt my abdominal muscles have played a big part in making my stomach go back to somewhat normal (it’s not totally back FYI)
I was very conscious of not over eating when I was pregnant. Again not because I am weight obsessed. You don’t have to eat for two when you are pregnant and it’s also not an excuse to over eat. Putting additional weight on can cause a whole host of issues for you or it might not 🤷🏻♀️. I didn’t want to risk having problems.
Don’t get me wrong I ate chocolate every single day. But I followed my own nutrition program to ensure I was sensible.
Lastly everybody is different. Everyone’s births are different, everyone’s recoveries are different. So your body might not have gone back as quick as you’d like. But then you might not have had to have a catheter in for 12 days after having your baby. It’s swings and roundabouts 😂. I’m also not dieting. I never diet. I am just living a balanced lifestyle following my own program. When I was pregnant it was slightly lopsided because of the chocolate intake 🙄. Bate-bola/jogo rápido para começar bem o feriado prolongado: 1) ZMA: os poucos estudos que conseguiram encontram aumento na produção de testosterona atribuem o resultado devido a deficiência nutricional. No entanto, não é claro o efeito do ZMA para o ganho de força/massa muscular associado ao treinamento resistido. 2) Aminoácido líquido: eu não consigo entender em qual situação nesse mundo de meu Deus a suplementação desse produto seja útil uma vez que a quantidade de proteína é facilmente atingida pela dieta ou pela suplementação proteica. 3) BCAA: Idem ao item anterior. 4) Carnitina: No que diz respeito a emagrecimento, a suplementação não aumenta a concentração de carnitina muscular e não aumenta a taxa de oxidação de gordura e portanto não emagrece! 5) Tribulus Terrestris: Estudos com humanos mostram que a suplementação de Tribulus isolado ou associado com outro produto não aumenta a secreção de testosterona e não aumenta força/massa muscular quando associado ao treinamento resistido. 6) Batata doce em pó: É sério isso, gente? Sendo carboidrato vai ter o mesmo efeito do malto ou até mesmo o pão francês. 7) Cromo: A hipótese dessa suplementação se baseia no aumento da sensibilidade a insulina. No entanto, estudos com humanos não mostram que a suplementação desse mineral melhora síntese de glicogênio ou mudanças na composição corporal. Ah, só para lembrar, cromo não tira a vontade de comer doce! Efeito (se existir) puramente psicológico. 8) TCM: não aumenta a saciedade, não emagrece e apesar de apresentar maior velocidade de oxidação, devido a baixa tolerância, nenhum estudo mostrou que a sua suplementação é capaz de melhorar o desempenho. 9) Glutamina: Não ajuda na hipertrofia, não apresenta melhora do sistema imunológico em atletas e não melhora desempenho físico. 10) Quitosana. When you pay me for a service you shouldn’t have to get me motivated to deliver the expectations we set prior to training 🤔 .
Before you pay me for my services make sure I am a right fit for you. Do your research and see what people are saying. It’s not one size fits all in the business world 🌎 .
To any business owner. Be careful because everyone who uses your services will talk about you. Good or bad. Don’t burn bridges. Accept all Criticism. Respect your client no matter what you may feel stirring up in the inside. Stay professional and represent your team, Christ, your family, or who ever it is represent them well. .

i get its supposed to be “funny,” but — wait, you know what? i actually DON’T get it.

are we really correlating drugs and losing weight as something that people should aim for now?! as if all hope is lost and now that’s a “last resort.” even jokingly, i’m disgusted by it.

But have you ever considered how lack of sleep influences your social interactions? Think about it. When you're exhausted and struggling to get through your day, you tend to withdraw inward and try to avoid social interaction because you're just not feeling up to it.
Now think about how daily sleep deprivation can lead to the daily withdrawal of social interactions -- and what that can compile to become over time.

Even when my clients are doing their best to eat a healthy, nourishing diet before they come to see me, I often see symptoms of the same nutrient deficiencies over and over. One of my first recommendations is to start by making sure your body has daily access to all the vital nutrients you need to keep your hormones balanced. Aquí les dejo algunas recomendaciones básicas que un Adulto mayor debe tomar en cuenta para tener estilos de vida saludable.
🔸️Alimentación variada: todos los tipos de alimentos, de manera equilibrada.
🔸️Fibra: consumo de alimentos integrales, frutas y vegetales con cáscara
🔸️Hidratación: tomar abundante líquido y agua, antes de tener sed.
🔸️Lácteos: 3 al día para cumplir con el requerimiento de calcio y vitamina D.
🔸️Actividad fisica: 30 minutos por día de alguna actividad moderada.
🔸️Tabaco y alcohol: evitar el tabaco y el exceso de alcohol.
🔸️Sol: asolearse con la adecuada protección solar, beneficia la salud de los huesos por el aporte de vitamina D.
🔸️Higiene: lavarse las manos antes de comer, cuidar la higiene de los utensilios de cocina y la higiene bucal para cuidar y mantener la dentadura.
🔸️Compañía: siempre que sea posible coma acompañado, por amigos o familiares.
🔸️Suplementos: valorar por medio de exámenes médicos la necesidad de recurrir a suplementos de folato, vitamina B12, Calcio y Vitamina D.
