WHAT DOES 'LSA' STAND FOR?
Linseed, Sunflower seeds and Almonds.

HOW DO I USE IT?
Add one-two teaspoons of this wholefood and wellbeing mixture to your meals. Personal favourite is on top of hot warm berry porridge every morning. *House keeping note- store in the fridge to keep the omega’s fresh!
BONUS EMpower Wellbeing Recipe: Berry and Coconut Porridge -1/2 cup of rolled oats -1 cup of unsweetened almond milk* -1/4 cup of frozen or fresh organic berries (not available in store yet!) -1 Tbsp of desiccated coconut -2 tsp of LSA -1 tbsp of Coconut yoghurt -Drizzle of Honey- optional *for a healthy chocolate flavour try out inside out cacao almond milk.
Add oats, almond milk, berries and desiccated coconut to a bowl and cook on the stove or in the microwave for 5-7 minutes.

Our bodies are all different, right? Well, that means we all sweat different too! Sweating is our bodies' way of cooling itself down. It's going to happen at different rates for people.
Sweating is an indicator of how hot your core temp. is and someone who has a hotter core temperature than their neighbor, doesn't necessarily mean they are burning more calories.
Measure by intensity! Are you breathing hard during your interval training? Are your muscle burning while you pile on the reps to the point of fatigue? Then you're burning calories!

A few weeks ago I did a therapy session which was an hour long float session in Epsom salt. It’s great for the body. Swipe left to see the tub, it was a bit scary when you closed the lid and it was pitch black but it’s great for meditation

i cook beautiful meals for myself. every day, every meal, whether i eat alone or not. i used to save the beautiful ones for nights i shared with others but that was years ago because guess what ? i am the most important person in my life.
that may sound a little assholey at first. but that’s because until recently putting yourself first was seen as selfish rather than self care. most of us grew up thinking that putting others first was an honorable act of selflessness. but that’s a load of bs. you have to love and show up for yourself every day so you can thrive in this world and be there for others.
beautiful nourishing food is one of the ways that i show my body i love it. so here i am sunday night alone with a beautiful dinner all to myself.
note☝🏼 of - because health is so much more than the food you eat or the way you move your body. i can not stress this enough. you can eat all the plants and perfect your workout routine, but if you aren’t taking care of the other half - your mind, your soul - your body can’t thrive like it’s meant to. so eat the plants, move your body, and then rest, meditate, talk kindly to yourself, laugh, take a bath, and sleep.

The conventional deadlift is not a squat!! You can see the differences between Anna’s before and after deadlifts here (10 mins apart)
Slowed down so you can see how far the squat style deadlift drifts away from her thighs and therefore her centreline. Although the higher hip deadlift initially felt unnatural for her to make the change; you can see it’s much safer, with the bar kept closer to her body; and of being safer is not much of a concern... other benefits include ... less bruising of the knees or shins, and more activation of the posterior chain than the quads !! This is often a habit girls fall into,guys probably would too if they had the mobility 😁

In honour of earth day let’s chat cheese and the planet 🌏 🧀 it takes about 8 litres of milk to produce 1 kg of cows cheese 🐄 choosing less dense cheese that requires less milk has a significantly less damaging carbon footprint. So if you love cheese but also love the planet opt for organic sheep’s or goat’s cheese, ricotta, cottage cheese or mozzarella 👌🏽

PROTEIN ANZAC BISCUITS 👏🏼🍪 .
Prep: 5 minutes
Cooking: 10-15 minutes
Ingredients: - 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup wholemeal self-raising flour
- 4 tbs honey
- 1/3 cup vanilla protein (or plain protein with 1 tsp of vanilla paste)
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1 cup of shredded coconut
- ½ cup melted olive oil butter (I used ‘lite’)
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon .
Preheat the oven to 160°C. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, spoon out onto a lined/greased baking tray into approximately 12 biscuits. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: if your batter is a little dry add small amounts of boiling water until you get the right consistency/texture - mentioning this as various proteins may alter the moisture ☺️
At meal times: Try to speak to your kids the way you would like to be spoken to if you were eating. Would you like a waiter coming up to you in a restaurant, forcing you to finish your dinner so that you don’t go to bed hungry? .
Would you like your partner forcing you to try a new food that looks strange, and not letting you leave the table until you do? .
Would you like your best friend to tell you that you are ‘naughty’ or a ‘pain in the neck’ because you didn’t finish the whole slice of the frittata she lovingly cooked for you?
As parents, meal times can be super hard. But we have to try hard not to project our own parent stuff onto little eaters.
Fresh Taco salad with a side of fruit! Organic ground beef 1/2 cup, quarter tomato, homemade pinto beans 3spoonfuls, fresh chopped lettuce and a few toasted chips to give it a crunch. Quick easy dish to make.
