Our server @eeniray
is a native Californian who has called New York home for nine years. She once studied fine art and worked in museums, but ultimately decided that art just didn't excite her like food did. She has worked in nearly every nook and cranny of the restaurant industry - she's been a prep cook, a line cook, a barista, a backwaiter, a server and even a cheesemonger. When she isn't at Celestine, she's walking dogs around Brooklyn. "Being a dog walker has given me the opportunity to see the most amazing parts of Brooklyn. It's really fascinating to see how neighborhoods develop and change." She says that dog-walking and the hospitality industry are her passions, but they're also a means to an end: Renie hopes to one day move to Spain or Portugal. "I want to continue working and growing and taking in every experience - good and bad - and eventually open my own space. That's what everybody wants, isn't it?" #celestinestaff #staffspotlight
