Jessica & Jason visited Hawaii to celebrate TEN YEARS of marriage and left their cute kids in Michigan 😉... doesn’t it sometimes seem like our culture is always focusing on what’s trendy or the next best thing? I think that’s what’s so refreshing about people like J&J... working at something for years, being committed and in it for the long haul. So glad we could meet up and give them memories of this huge milestone! 🎉
A few years ago we had the privilege of photographing Vai & Mark’s weeklong wedding on Maui 🌸 - this time they came back with a baby on board! It was so fun to catch up, share stories (we are due just a few weeks apart) and photograph them again💛 It was pretty dark by the time we remembered to take a group pic but Reese set up the timer and made it happen, just like everything else during their shoot! His shorts are soaked from the ocean - the guy always does whatever it takes to get the right angle😂💪
Sweet little beach babe. ❤️
The tickle technique is definitely a favorite of mine. It brings out the real in everyone!!❤️❤️❤️
“ - Don’t compare yourself to other mothers... we are all losing our shit! Some are just better at hiding it than others! -
Can’t tell here, but 20 minutes before this photo, I was ready to leave Mila in Hawaii forever! And if you look closely, Tyson’s soaked in this pic bc he decided it’d be cool to get fully submerged in the ocean right before we were to get on a plane to come home. Fun right?
Yeah, I lost my shit a few times during our family session with LucieXYZ Photography, but you can’t tell here bc I’m hiding it pretty well right? Obsessed with this years family photos, btw. 🧡 “

Words of wisdom by my client. I totally agree with her statement of us moms loosing our💩. The only difference is, that not all of us can look this graceful while doing it. 😆

It’s been a natural transition for us to photograph more families as we start our own! There’s something about kids, their sense of wonder and exploration that comes alive in Hawaii🏝 Whether it’s at a beach or house or actually in the water (we got asked to photograph a family doing surf lessons the other day!)🏄🏽♂️ there’s always so many moments of connection to save. Even through the crazy, cause kids are definitely crazy...but they meet their match and love “crazy uncle Reese”😜
It’s Sunday and I’m watching Hook. 👏🏼 It has nothing to do with this beautiful image but whatever. 🤣❤️
It’s so easy to capture those mommy and baby moments but the daddy and baby/kid ones are just as great, and even better.
I absolutely love color but I LOVE black and white.
The only time it’s okay to love those adorable little back rolls. How squishy is this baby? Oh my gosh... there is nothing better!!
It’s not always about the babies and the kids... takes something to make that happen.. this is just a highlight of where it all begins. ❤️❤️
Just this beautiful pregnant mama and some north shore action. ❤️ I wish I could get out to the north shore more often. It’s so beautiful. Life... and traffic. Darn you Hawai’i traffic!
Anyone else do this with their babies? Close your eyes and just breathe in their little baby scent? It might be the best smell and the warmest part of love that exists. ❤️
It’s so funny to me when I photograph babies (who were born in Hawaii) that hate the sand. Like they cry if they get any sand on their feet. 🤣🤣🤣
