19 years ago, Yoga saved me from debilitating asthma. I’ve been a huge fan of a daily pranayama (Sanscrit for breath "prana" + restraint "ayama") ever since!
A short, daily breath practice: 🗝 Makes us instantly more present and aware of our surroundings 🗝 Can be extremely calming (or extremely energizing, depending on the breath!) 🗝Increases focus - it's a fairly guaranteed way to slay the monkeymind! 🗝 Can help heal conditions such as asthma, high blood pressure and insomnia.

Fiddling around in the shop today.
The floors are done! They put the final clear coat on yesterday (we chose a matte clear coat finish). I LOVE how they turned out - the pictures don't do it justice. You'll notice the color of the kitchen cabinets and the stair railings don't look too awesome against the new floor - not to worry those are future projects so stay tuned!
