* 1/2cup steel-cut oatmeal
* 1tsp chia seeds
* 1tbsp buckwheat
* 1/2scoop vanilla protein powder @leanfitbrand
* 1/2 small mashed banana
* 1tbsp sultanas * 1tsp Cinnamon * pinch of nutmeg
* 1/2 Bosc pear
* 1/2 banana (the other half)
* organic peanut butter * seed mix (sunflower, pumpkin, hemp, flax)

Nice warming bowl of oats with a cup of green tea was perfect for this morning- we had our first snow in the city last night! Can’t wait to keep waking up to quiet snow covered streets and trees, and future mornings tucked up in a blanket enjoying a good warm breakfast like this.
Today’s bowl was:
- 1/4 cup rolled oats - 3/4 cups water (I use almond milk some days)
- small handful frozen raspberries, stewed with dash of water and pinch of cinnamon - dollop of natural peanut butter - sprinkle of ground chia, ground flax, and hemp hearts
- blueberries to top it off

Quick diabetes friendly snack. Poha and oats dry roasted, seasoned with Curry leaves, turmeric, pepper powder, mustard, embellished with peanuts, walnuts, roasted gram, sunflower seeds and slivers of almonds.
Takes ten minutes to make and stores well in an airtight container. How many days? Maybe 4-5, if there's any left.
Nutritious and tasty. Travel friendly.
For variety, chop onions and tomatoes and add, to make a light meal. .

heyyy, it’s been a while since my last post!! so here i am. this was today’s breakfast: Carrot Oatmeal!! 😍
•It’s pretty basic and simple to make, actually, ingredients are:
–1 shredded carrot (mine was small-medium) –45g oats (or more, listen to your stomach hehe) –some vanilla extract
–1 cup almond milk or water (i use half milk and half water)
–1/2 tbsp chia seeds
–a lil bit of shredded carrot
–sliced almonds (i had to “dice” the almonds as i don’t have sliced almonds)
So i just put everything in a pot and mix it until desired consistency, then added the toppings et voilà!! lol
i’m kinda sad that i couldn’t 100% enjoy it because i fought with my mom. i sometimes feel like i’m never good enough to her. but anyways, i’ll try to stay positive!! i hope you’re having a better morning (or day) than me!!😊 bye bye 💘

My classes today were cancelled because of unhealthy air quality so I was able to have a much needed slow morning this morning! My overnight pumpkin oats actually made it into a bowl (or a ramekin rather) that I ate while watching Netflix in bed 😋 Going to motivate myself to go to campus soon to get some work done but this unusual slow morning was lovely, it’s just unfortunate it’s because of all the fires 😢🔥

gluten free rolled oats (not an #ad
just love em!), half a 🍌, 2 medjool dates (chopped), 1 tbsp of cinnamon & huge spoonful of vanilla paste. Toppings 👉 peaches 🍑blackberries, almond butter 💯
Warm and sweet oatmeal bowl for your November cravings 🍂
• 2/3 cup oats
• 1 cup unsweetened organic soy milk
Toppings: • 1/4 cup blueberries
• 1 banana • cinnamon • brown sugar
• almond or peanut butter
• vegan dark chocolate chips
1. Put oats in a pot, add soy milk and turn the stovetop to medium-high heat (6-7/10)
2. Slice banana
3. Once oatmeal is cooked, add to bowl
4. Add toppings & bon appetit!

Made the thickest oats ever for breakfast the other day - soaked them overnight with maca powder, soya milk, flax & chia seeds, chopped pecans, frozen blueberries and raisins, then cooked them up in the morning with more milk/water and topped with more pecans which I toasted in a pan for a couple mins, more frozen blueberries and maple syrup post-photo🥣
Went to visit a really dear friend in hospital yesterday who is having a very scary time with her health right now, which was lovely but also so emotional and shocking to see someone I care about so weak and confused.
The last time I visited anyone in a hospital was quite a long time ago, so I had also completely forgotten what a different world it is. It hit me so hard how precious your health and freedom is, in terms of literally having the good fortune of a body which can move and walk wherever you want it to and wash itself and go to the toilet and put clothes on without assistance, though this health is fragile and sometimes unexpected things happen, which is scary but often uncontrollable. There were people (elderly) on her ward who may never experience this freedom ever again😞
It really made everything pale into insignificance! Like I’m complaining about having to cycle to babysitting after dance today, meaning I won’t get home until late before work early tomorrow, but at least I CAN and have the option to go where I want and work and I’m not literally stuck in bed hooked up to a machine!!!
Anyway sorry for the ramble, just some food for thought x
