It’s not that I can’t sleep, it’s that I won’t sleep until I feel the work is done. This is true for every area of my life, so fitness follows suit, of course. Busy day, and when I tried to get in a 45 minute superset workout earlier, it was during peak time, so there was a wait for all the machines.
This meant that I had to shorten my workout significantly in order to maintain my schedule. So here I am. At the gym. Even after a 3 hour dance rehearsal for an upcoming production that I’m in. Even though I’m tired, and was within a foot of my bed with 3 quarters of a mind to jump in it; prior to coming to the gym. Which as it turns out, was totally worth it.
Blasted chest, arms, and abs to finish off the back and shoulder workout I got in earlier. Now its home for some much needed rest. Incidentally, I really miss my HIIT cardio and basketball, but their absence has prompted me to rediscover my obsession for #weightlifting
My knee is on the mend though, and I’ll be back to my full routine soon enough.
