Happy Monday, my lovelies! The weather is finally starting to warm up and I am so excited! Pool days laying around and drinking margaritas are soon approaching. So when I was taking this shot, there was a family (Mom, adult daughter, daughters husband, child) having a family dispute about 20 feet behind me. I was trying so hard to pretend I was deaf so they didn’t think I was listening. Truth is...I didn’t wanna listen! But I couldn’t avoid it. 😂😂 I’m not shy or super private as you all can attest...I say most anything! But somethings are better left for private. What do you guys think? Would you start and continue a private family argument about sensitive subject matter in public with people able to hear? Or wait until you get home or to a private space? I mean, it was kind of entertaining though. Maybe if they wanna do that, they could provide popcorn for those of us witnessing it. 🤷🏻♀️😂
Do what makes you happiest in the world (Even if it’s telling the world about personal issues. Who doesn’t love a good story about impotence and eviction? 😂😂)

My Arms Were Always Around You, rural Ohio
Had a blast last night and brought home some bling! Thanks to @cbuscraftcocktailtour
for hosting the “I’m not really a bartender” competition. My soul reason for competing was to create a pineapple pizza cocktail dubbed “Fight Me” featuring our Pizza Pie’chuga. Was not expecting to win...
Feeling zany: Once a manufacturing hub along the Muskingum River, downtown Zanesville is home to beautiful, historic buildings and an eclectic, monthly event called the First Friday Art Walk.
Yosemite National Park was spectacular!!
I love my city, but I can’t wait to leave and play tourist elsewhere for a while.
Mother Nature’s brushstrokes. Happy Earth Day!
Spring has finally sprung!
Mayson is potty trained (or at least he can hold it for several hours 🤣) and he's now tall enough for the kids play area at IKEA. Great, we said. Let's try a "date night" at IKEA! It went something like this:
1. Feed kids hotdogs at the cafe first. They eat at what seems like a snails pace.
2. Deliver them to Smaland only to discover there is a 30 minute wait.
3. Wait for 40 minutes.
4. Check kids in to Smaland.
5. Discover the extra 30 min in Smaland for IKEA family is only M-F.
6. Go up stairs to restaurant to wait in line.
7. Get to the counter, open my mouth to order and pager starts to buzz.
8. Tell hubby to order me chicken meatballs and go downstairs to Smaland.
9. Oldest kid is crying and does not want to stay.
10. Begrudgingly take kids back up to restaurant with me.
11. Find my husband waiting because they needed to cook more chicken meatballs.
12. Sit at table to eat dinner while kids say they're "starving".
13. Let kids eat half my meatballs.
14. Go home.
A nice day for a bike ride downtown 🏙

Doing my best to enjoy Mother Earth today 🌏
Pausing on a quiet Sunday morning along the Ohio River. Tuning into the river's flow is a lovely way to just let go

Happy 🌎 Day and an early #mcm
to my guy who so willingly helped me out today with a clean up at Three Creeks Metro Park. The amount of litter and bottles was a little overwhelming with just the two of us but I’m happy with the amount we were able to clean up. And more than happy to have someone who supports me and my values 🤗🤗
Just remember that Earth Day should be every day and be mindful of where your trash goes and how much of a footprint you are creating. The things you consume don’t just magically disappear, it all winds up somewhere and a lot of the time it’s polluting our waterways ♻️🌼🏞

I want to thank everyone (five people) for coming out to the first Instameet. I hope more can make it out next time. It was awesome meeting new people and enjoying the outdoors. The weather was perfect. If you have any suggestions on where, date and time for the next Instameet don’t be afraid to comment below or send a DM. I was thinking Cascade Park/Day’s Dam on Saturday May 5 for the next one. Maybe afterwards we could celebrate Cinco De Mayo at Fiesta Jalapeños in N. Ridgeville. Just a thought.
🚨 NEW: BUTTERFLY PEACH BUBBLE
Butterfly pea, a Thai flower brings a hint of earthy tones and natural purple color to this refreshing peach drink!
We’re ready for spring! 🍑 🍑
Happy Earth Day, little guy! 🌎🌱
