Coral was brought up the Brisbane River by boat to be crushed at Seventeen Mile Rocks. These two photos are of pieces of equipment used to convey the crushed coral up to the cement factory at Darra, Qld.
Built-in medicine cabinet. Accidentally skipped this pic in the last post. The lights are vintage but not as old as the house; probably 1940s or so.
Two coats are as far as we want to take it. We’ll let it cure overnight and check for touch ups tomorrow. Exposed brick in the corner for texture contrast.
