😁 Lifts from this past Friday. Even is powering everything for almost last two months has definitely helped.....I’m glad I can finally do full lifts 🏋🏽‍♀️ ...................................................................... Snatch • worked up to 91% [42KG], went up to 96% [44KG] and failed 👎🏽 but I couldn’t be happier. Even if my lifts still need lots of work, technique is improving and I’m definitely getting stronger 💪🏽 ...................................................................... C&J • worked up to 87% [55KG]. Clean was good but my jerk was meh 😑 coach says I need to give him a good dip AND drive not one or the other 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ll get my 💩 together one of these days. ...................................................................... Didn’t record it, but I worked up to 73% [73KG] on my back squat. Idk how....my legs were trash from all the accessories BUT quads are definitely stronger. ...................................................................... Honestly y’all, current feels. — First workout in 8, no 9? days? I don’t know. I feel like death. I was on a plane for 12ish hours yesterday and I’m tired AF. BUT I still forced myself to get in and do the damn thing. I have a comp this weekend so trying to get back into the groove. — No more gelato, no more French baguettes 😭, no more handmade pasta 😭😭😭😭 But that’s okay, back to goals and back to reality. — It’s okay to enjoy life and get off track sometimes for the sake of L I V I N G Just as long as you get back on 🚃💨
This week took me for a spin. With a new schedule and an unforseen circumstance, i only made time to train twice this week. Fortunately they were both high quality sessions. This doesn't mean my goals are on hold or even that I'm set back. This is just a reminder to you all that life happens, and sometimes you have to prioritize what's important. Make sure that the the time you make is worth it, and then make it count! Here are some pulling drills from Wednesday to help with my snatch. Was supposed to be doing a Snatch Pull, but i was by myself due to my schedule and ended up doing Snatch High Pulls 5x5 at 85lbs instead without knowing. Lol. Some bent over rows too. 4x10 @ 105lbs.

A lot of people have been asking❓how my tailbone is doing....pretty good actually 👍🏽[thank you for caring 😁]. We have been working on loading my quads more...still needs work, but this is a big improvement from two months ago. On Monday I worked up to 71% (70KG) and yesterday I was able to get up to 84% (84KG). In other news, squats are coming along. First full week back at it 🙂 This cycle we’re working up to a heavy single plus drop sets 4 days a week. Monday I was only able to hit 71% of my back squat and 79% of my front squat em yesterday. I’ve been working on strengthening my quads and getting the right muscles to fire at the right time. Forgot to post this amazing session i had two days ago. Loved this "Anderton" squat complex. 1 3-sec pause front squat + 1 1/4 front squat + 1 front squat. I felt confident on every set! Sets shown are at 155lbs and 175lbs. Form looked really clean. Practiced some upper body gymnastics and core afterwards and finished my day with a push complex. Shown here: 1 push press + 1 push jerk + 1 split jerk at 95lbs. Yes, my splits need some work, but I'm ready and willing

I haven’t touched a bar in three days and it feels like it’s been a lifetime 😭 here’s some clips from my last training sesh this past Wednesday. It’s been rough, humidity has been up there and I swear this hump day it was worst than the rest of the days. I felt like I saw stars ✨ after every lift 🤦🏽‍♀️ I managed to pull through and finish all my sets tho. Power snatches 🏋🏽‍♀️ with 2 second pause below the knee, snatch pulls, and power cleans with 2 second pause above the knee. To be completely honest, having two lifts with the pause in two different places is mind boggling for me 🤯 ...................................................................... As an athlete, injuries 💉 are inevitable no matter what you do for preventative maintenance 🧘🏽‍♀️ It’s not a matter of “if” you’ll get hurt, but rather when.....that’s my opinion anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️ This year has been rough for me. I’ve has several issues I’ve dealt with, currently a tailbone that isn’t sure where it’s supposed to be 🙄 I have to say that this has been a HUGE blessing in disguise 💁🏽‍♀️ It’s forced me to focus 🔍on my weak areas. I haven’t been able to [comfortably] bear decent weight in front and back rack positions, I’ve been doing a ton of accessories to get my legs up to par. This has forced me to ☝🏽 power everything [great...because my snatch turnover is sloooow 🐢] ✌🏽 figure out how to assign and maintain tension in the right places at the right time. ...................................................................... Yesterday I worked on finding my power snatch 1RM [why from hang tho] 🎥1️⃣ 85% and also the weight I struggled with last week, the one that I missed a bazillion times and made my coach fall out of his chair 🤣 he still wasn’t amused 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🎥2️⃣ 95% 🎥3️⃣ 98% at the end of that video you hear my coach say he doesn’t know how I made that....I don’t know either 🤷🏽‍♀️ 🎥4️⃣ 100% 🏋🏽‍♂️ missed it....but I’ll hit it soon.
