Mr M is stuck many, many miles from home so I need a supper that will keep and fill him up as he’s missed lunch and driven 250 miles Home. Cue green frittata, stuffed full of spinach, watercress, peas, potatoes and Stilton. Really tasty and so enormous we’ll be eating it for a couple of days.
one thing I love is that I was brought up on really yummy food that was never pretentious. My parents would often cook amazing dishes with random things found in our fridge. One of my favs when I was a kid was an omelette my dad would make for us with AMERICAN CHEESE (I know omg the 90s tho). Last time I was home, he made me this omelette, but with grown-up cheddar of course. That thing on the left is a piece of medium rare steak that looks charred bc of the shadow. Am I being nostalgic bc I’m on day 3 of this stupid cleanse and getting emotional? Probably. #tbt
