to the dog park so she could run around and I could sit. Today, my workout wasn’t my best (and certainly not a PR), but it felt good to sweat out the rest of the yuck. I filled my fridge with all the raw veggies and fruits. Dinner was @beyondmeat
beyond “chicken” on top of sautéed collard greens and onions.
YAAAY LIFE! Yes, this is a photo of me back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (outfit and pom couture by Mom). Of course I am now middle-aged, but recently, my child-like enthusiasm for all things, much to my surprise, returned. I owe it all to exercise. Today, my Dad gave me a hard time for relying so much on technology to get in shape. Of course he walked to school 5 miles both ways in weather only worthy of sea-faring Vikings. He does have a point…he walks miles every day at a brisk pace without any coaching/music/etc. Thing is, I’m in better shape than I have been in for a hot minute and am grateful for the technology.
Now... I arrive at my real reason for posting. I want to sign up for a 5K (never thought I’d say those words…EVER). I need suggestions both local and afar. Of course doughnut and beer 5Ks are appealing. :-D GO! #5K #fitness #Nashville #OnePeloton #running

16 hours spent on the bike over the past 30 days. Over 9,000 calories burned & 266 miles clocked in. It’s one of the most challenging workouts I’ve ever done but there’s something about it that makes me keep coming back for more. I crave the energy & the sweat that the #peloton
provides - and it’s such a nice compliment to my strength workouts in the gym. 💪🏻

Well I did it!! Ride 💯!! A 90 minute ride kicked my booty but I did it woo hoo!! Got a little overwhelmed with emotion at the end...I used to drive my car to the mailbox I was in so much pain and now I’m riding my Peloton like a rock star!! Healthy lifestyle is the difference!!
