I did it! I managed to complete my 3rd marathon this past weekend. I was prepared throughout the week until I had to walk and move around a lot the day prior. I woke up with slightly swollen feet and pain around the ankles.
Temperature was great and I managed to continuously run for over 30km, 6km more than what I previously could. My feet and ankles hurt too much so I started walking but then cramps made it tough to run, so I had to walk more. In the end, I managed to have enough reserve for a final sprint ending up with a personal best of 4:49:41, which is just 7min faster, but a win is win. On top of that, I was never out of breath, which means I found my rhythm. 3 victories, I couldn't have asked for more under the circumstances. @oasiscanada

After 16 weeks post op the doctors have finally cleared me to ease back into some aspects of my life . I have temporarily opened my Etsy Shop 🙏 it will be permanent! 🤞.

I can be the queen of procrastination at times but it's amazing what can happen when I make small steps consistently! It's not always easy and I make mistakes but I learn and grow every step of the way. A big part of why I procrastinate is my "all or nothing" attitude... This could be with dietary changes, business and so on. Any other procrastinators out there? Ask yourself what small step you can take today towards your dreams and goals. ❤
So for the last few months, my life has been a bit of a train wreck. While I was watching this wreckage occur, I felt helpless. It felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Being real is scary, right? I didn't want anyone to think of me differently, or like I couldn't cope. Instead of letting people in, I locked them out. I dreaded getting out of bed. I didn't want to talk to anyone, and I didn't want to be in the real world.
Today marks the end of a long journey for me. I decided I wasn't going to be chained up by fear anymore. I took control back. This morning was the first one in a long time I smiled when I got out of bed. I created a light at the end of my tunnel. We are as strong as we believe. We are resilient. And we can do it. Even when it feels like we can't. 💪

2 months ago, I thought I was taking a huge step back
I had to stop my training program and start yoga only to help relieve back pain
But when I realized I had a little miracle growing inside me, I changed my vision on it all
I understood the changes happening in my body and gave it some time
I’m happy to finally start back my program
I’ll follow my limits
I’ll listen to my body
I’ll simply DO MY BEST 💕
Quick leg session this AM, actually think I'm beginning to get back into a rhythm now don't wanna get ahead of myself so I'm taking each day as it comes and not forcing myself to train if I REALLY don't feel up to it.

Not all days are easy. Sometimes life is more black than white. I don’t understand how my own anxiety and depression works. I don’t always know what triggers it. Sometimes it just hits me and I feel like I want to be gone, from life, from existence. It’s not always easy. There’s always someone cooler, prettier, better, kinder, sweeter. I’m pretty much just doing my best. Sometimes you have a damn good week, everything is great and then it hits you, hard. You’re an empty shell, yet you overflow with this sinking hard feeling.
