Sharing this today, because I know it will speak volumes to those clients of mine who are currently facing their fears, and using specially designed mirror work exercises to help with confidence and self-esteem issues.
As women, we tend to speak to ourselves in ways we would never dream of speaking to others. Mirror work exercises are not the most comfortable and natural feeling tasks in the early days of starting them. However, when done correctly, and with appropriate support, they can help get you get to a place of acceptance of you in 'the now'. Once you are accepting of 'the now', it becomes so much easier to be open to the possibilities of the future, and to cope with any potential challenges those future possibilities may pose aswell.
Why not try it? Take a good look at yourself in the mirror at some point today, and out loud tell yourself three positive things that have happened within the last 24 hours.
