Ink on Glass
My new army of coasters in a pretty periwinkle shade! They look a little naked right now 😂 but a nice metallic trim will fix that right up! What color do you guys think I should do for the trim? As of now I only have gold and copper in my collection but I'm thinking of picking up some silver cause I think adding a silver lining would be beeeeautiful! 💙 I'm going to also post this on my story with a poll so vote away!

I am hosting a free online Goddess Art Session to celebrate the Summer Solstice on Thursday, June 21st. We will be exploring the Celtic goddess Aine through art and meditation. I will share with you tips on how to harness her qualities through ritual and intention. This workshop is for you if love learning about Goddess energies and how to bring this into your daily life. If you are seeking to improve your life through exploring your own sacred energies. If you have a special place in your heart for the Goddess. If you are shedding your old identity to become the magical woman that you are. To learn more, visit the link in my profile.
This whole human incarnation thing is not for the weak-hearted. Reading the news after two weeks of disconnection in the desert makes me want to run back to the protection of those sandstone cliffs as fast as possible. To never read another headline again. To sleep under the stars every night. To live in a time when herds of bison still roamed freely & plentifully. Before we humans made a royal mess of their home & so many other things.
But I know this nostalgia is in many ways misguided & at the very least, unhelpful. These are the times we are in. And as @glennondoyle
says, they are both beautiful & brutal at the same time. They are “brutiful.” All I know to do at the moment is find ways of adding to the beauty part of the equation, everyday. And perhaps more importantly, to find ways (however minuscule they may seem) of supporting those working to alleviate some of the brutal parts.
As I paint a mother bison & her calf on canvas, there are people actively fighting to keep mothers & their children together. Their magnanimity is astounding to me. My efforts pale in comparison.
But I will say this: I believe every act of beauty & creation can be a direct defiance of that which is dark & inhumane in this brutiful world of ours. So even though it feels insignificant at times, I will keep foraging for beauty in every multi-colored, defiant brushstroke.
Kinda late to the game but happy Pride Month!!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Also high key dead sick of drawing flowers ughhhh petals are the end of me 🤪
PS Would anyone be interested if I were to sell this as a print? :0
