Good morning everyone, say hello to @Mr.Olly
, our Instagrammer of the week: "Photography is modern day magic. Being able to hit a button and have that moment in time saved for you to look back at whenever you want would have literally been science fiction 200 years ago. I have lived in Bristol all my life, but I try to travel as much as possible, even if it’s just a weekend in Devon. As the OS Instagrammer of the week I will transport you all over the South of the UK to places including Cornwall, Dorset, The Cotswolds and Pembrokeshire.
My first photo is a personal favourite location of mine and one that’s instantly recognisable by a lot of people. It is of course Durdle Door, the natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast near Lulworth in Dorset. Durdle Door is actually privately owned by the Welds, a family who owns 12,000 acres in Dorset in the name of the Lulworth Estate. It has to one of the most famous coastal views in the UK and for good reason, it looks spectacular all year round."
