Do you agree!? - 🎩 The true magic happens with getting close enough and then learning how to make changes based on what your body does. That’s what I am going to show you how to do today 👇🏻 Tag your friend who needs to figure out their macros! - 1️⃣ First you need to find your guesstimate of Maintenance Calories (aka the calories intake you maintain you bodyweight at): Maintenance Calories = Bodyweight x 14 - ❇️ Troubleshooting: If you are someone who is very overweight, then the guesstimate of 14 might give you a number that is probably above what you need. #1MH4Life . Ex: 400lbs x 14 = 5,600 Cals. That’s too high. I’d say for this person I’d use the multiplier of 11-12 and work off that. - 2️⃣ Fat Loss Calories: Maintenance Cals - 300 cals for less aggressive. (The leaner you are, the less aggressive advise) Maintenance Cals - 500 cals for more aggressive - 3️⃣ Macros: I’m going to assume you guys know the benefits of each Macronutrient. Neither of the 3 are the devil like some might try and lead you to believe…. Find you macros in this order: 1. Protein = 1g per pound body weight 2. Fats = at least 25%-30% of total calories 3. Carbs = Whatever is left . ✳️ Ex: 150lb Female who’s goal is Fat Loss and is ok with a more aggressive approach 150 x 14 = 2100 Calories 2100 Cals - 500 Cals = 1600 Cals for Fat Loss Calculate her Fat Loss Macros: 150g Protein because 1g per pound of bodyweight 45g Fat as a baseline because 1600 x 25% = 400 Cals coming from fats. Then 400/9 = 44.4444g fat then rounded up to 45g. Remember this number is the baseline. If you love fats, it can be higher. So now you need to figure out how many calories you have left that could possibly come from Carbs: 150g Protein x 4 cals per gram = 600 Cals 45g Fat x 9 cals per gram = 405 Cals 600 + 405 = 1,005 Calories 1600 - 1005 = 595 Cals left 595/4 = 148.75g Carbs . Just round it up to 150g to make it easy to track. It’s not that serious to hit 148 or 150g. Don’t worry about those tiny details. . Try it out.🙏🏽

Tujuan fisik jelas olahraga supaya sehat, kuat, fleksibel, atletis, plus alhamdulillah kalau bisa bikin badan ideal. Tujuan non fisik antara lain bisa bikin hepi, lebih disiplin dan lebih banyak energi positif. Tapi ada 1 lagi non fisik purposenya, yaitu tambah knowledge. Harus ada ilmu yang didapat dari sesi itu. Misal knowledge tentang proper form and teknik gerakan, knowledge tentang otot apa yang harus digunakan untuk gerakan tertentu, manfaatnya bagi tubuh dan modifikasi gerakan untuk tubuh dengan kondisi tertentu. . Olahraga selain ngejar capek keringetannya aja tapi juga harus ngejar ilmunya, biar tubuh sehat dan pintar 💪🏻 (mon maap kalo mirip tagline iklan susu balita 🤪 #dontbesoserious ). The worst thing about the medication is that it has side effects that make life harder for him. - About 4 or 5 months ago we talked about a different holistic approach to treating this condition and Carl met it with an open mind ready to take on the challenge and do anything to clear it and get off the medication. - Again, attitude is everything. Carl went head first into helping his health and now can almost identify the exact foods and lifestyle decisions that aggravate him and push him backwards. The only side effect over him nailing his nutrition is along with his hard training he has becoming one lean, ripped unit 😂 - Proud of you brother, can’t wait to see what 2019 brings us!!

Working out in wide open spaces is one of my favorite things to do and I try to do it any chance I get whether it be a run or boot camp workout. - As a personal trainer I started training at a big gym and I enjoyed my clients and the structure of workouts but a whole new world opened up for me when I transitioned to coaching groups outdoors. I started to have so much more FUN as I led in this environment even if it meant waking up at 3:45am to train those early bird members. - It’s been exactly three years now since I began as a Partner Trainer with Camp Gladiator and I still enjoy what I do as well as enjoy going to my fellow teammates workouts. You can only become a better person and trainer if you surround yourself with like minded people who are passionate about their career. - So today I started my day with my great friend Josh as he busted our butts with a great Strength & Agility workout. Feeling happy and invigorated as I challenged my body in the great outdoors. What is your RESTING SQUAT FACE?🙂 . Did you know that the flat footed squat is supposed to be the NATURAL HUMAN RESTING POSITION? . Unfortunately in most Western/developed cultures, the resting squat position is almost non existent. Our overly convenient lifestyles and routines have made squatting (I'm referring to just the body weight squat here) more of an exercise movement and the RESTING SQUAT POSITION almost an impossibility. #1MH4Life . Contrary to the common belief that we lose mobility as we age, mobility and being able to rest and recover in the squat position has more to do with our lifestyle than our age (as you can see in the subsequent pics, much older people are able to rest in the squat).⛑️ . We did have a beautiful resting squat when we were younger(observe babies and younger kids) but with our need for excessive and more convenient ways of resting, aka sitting, we have trained our bodies to choose short term comfort over long term gain and to let go of our ability to squat properly.⚠️ . It's time that we start realizing this and reclaim our NATURAL RESTING POSITION. . Stay tuned this week for ways to reclaim your best resting squat face. 😁 .
