Most folks will post improvements to their property before during and after. Personally, I want to make sure of three things before I post:
1) no one gets hurt during the process
2) no one gets embarrassed (especially me), and
3) whatever we are improving actually gets improved. .
I installed some door seal to the barn-style doors that throw our precious heat outdoors. But...here is what I am proud of....
All while keeping the campfire going today, I decided to put up the "patio" lights. I went with some excess rubber coated braided wire from my clothesline, a few wire clamps & installed from the dwelling to the tree. As you can see, it turned out rather nice.
Simple enough, right? Well, I've no ladder so had to use part of a metal bunk bed to install the eye-bolts. With no leverage, I nearly pushed myself over while drilling a pilot hole. Thankfully, I have enough hand-eye coordination left to escape injury.
As you can see, as soon as it is time to enjoy these lights....my fam (@atablefullinthewoods
and the rest ditched me for the warmth inside....well, except my lovely daughter, @chicken_loving_girl
What have you done to improve your place today?
