I have had a lot in my plate lately and my anxiety has been very up. Got in a good workout but my anxiety was still up when I got home. I decided that I needed to work some more since it was up so I ran 3/4 of a mile and kept a panic attack from happening. This was a big win for me because I’ve never been able to stop one once I feel it coming on.
4 slow, hot miles here today! This place makes me happy.
You could try to scale a rocky wall of death....or you could just run 😂
I got up early enough for a slower 4 miles. My GPS didn’t transfer to the Strava app on my phone so you’ll have to take my word for it 😆 I wanted to run yesterday but right when I was ready to head out the door it started pouring and thunderstorms were lurking. So I made sure to wake up early enough to get something in before work. I feel like I have been slacking quite a bit. The good thing about running is that there are always ways to get back into a groove. I just need to plan better and get consistent with my runs.

Yesterday we literally “RAN ERRANDS” ...it was actually a lot of fun and forced us to run some new routes. It helped that it was a PERFECT-end of summer-DAY and both kids were happy travelers! 😉 . .
Who else mixes work with play and “runs” their errands?
Mój pierwszy bieg górski Garmin Ultra Race 24 km, to zwiastun wielu wielu wielu kilometrów, które przede mną 🤗

Adding short bursts of sprinting to your run torches more calories, improves your running economy, and makes you fastest overall. During your next road run, go at a your normal pace until a car approaches, then increase your speed until it passes. This is a great way to mix some random speed work into your run!
Lots of water on the trail today. With all the rain lately it’s been a challenge to get outdoors and run. It made me think of those dealing with the floods in the Carolinas. Praying for all those that have been dealing with the devastation. *********
Also praying for God to give you the strength and perseverance to finish the week strong. Keep moving and keep the faith. #activeforchrist #keepthefaith
Realised I only ever take selfies when I've exercised and I'm as sweaty as anything. I'm clearly not about that fake or filtered life 😂
Crappy run but I didn’t give up. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m only running for myself. #chillout
and suddenly I do much better.
