Today Got humbled and shut down by some easy slab, turns out power doesn’t help technique
Last 7 days were exciting.
For the first time in five years, I went bouldering outdoors and then went again after just a week.
Furthermore, during the same time, I gave a try for trad climbing and absolutely loved it - not only got to second but even led a couple of VSes myself. Cannot wait to get some more practice and dive into big mountains adventures.
A little bit of something different 😉. I’ve been into climbing for over a year now and it’s almost become a hobby parallel to yoga for me. I consider myself predominantly an indoors climbing person but, being in rural ME, gyms don’t abound. This spring I was lucky to discover outdoors climbing and I’ve found a new love for it and the new mental and physical challenges it brings.
I know most people follow me for yoga but since I’ve been trying to be a little more personal here (which you seem to want from polls!) I thought I’d share other things that I love and devote time to as well.
This is a crimpy V1 called “Mojito Madness” in beautiful ANP. Don’t let the grade fool you, I’ve seen many tough climbers struggle with this one 😜 also: excuse the seal-like topout 😂
