And just like that, this chapter has come to an end.
I return home empty handed. So many things happened this weekend that it's still hard to put it all into words. It sucks to lose. Simple as that. It sucks to walk away feeling like all the time and sacrifice I put in was rewarded with nothing. It sucks that what I thought was right, was wrong. It sucks that I couldn't silence the trolls/haters. And it sucks that I injured myself the week of the show and it physically and mentally destroyed me...
But what is reflecting on the negatives going to do? It's only going to make me lose sight of the positives that have come out from this show/experience. So for now, I just wanted to take this time to thank all the support I've gotten from my loved ones. Even having my amazing girlfriend flying all the way from CA to support me! I've been so blessed. And even my work for being understanding and supportive with my passion for fitness/competing.
I just wanted to thank everyone that's supported me on this journey! It's been a rough one, especially towards the finish line, but I've learned a lot from this loss and I've learned a lot about myself as a person. So although I came home empty handed, I've walked away stronger... I'll probably need more time to heal and recover but I'm planning on bouncing back with new content, with new motivation and with a new purpose. At the end of the day, fitness is a competition between you and yourself... So I hope to come back ready to beat the guy in this photo. #outforvengeance #youvsyou
