I don't post about my food often but tonight I discovered that blueberries go really well with raspberry vinaigrette dressing 😋
She used our cream foundation, concealer and pressed powder to cover the bruising from cupping therapy she had done on her neck. Pretty cool to not have to use color correction!!! Amazing coverage!!

BUT they were closed due to moving to their new, very cool digs. Total non-starter. Or was it? We did a quick re-route to Dead Armadillo, and had the perfect start to date night. What’s that saying? When the first tap room is closed, there’s an open one down the street. It’s something like that.
This was such a treat. I have waited a long time (years!) to eat at The Whale Wins. Don’t ask me why it took so long. It won’t be that long before I return. That’s a fact! .

LEOPARD PRINT TOP + PUMPS
It appears that our love of the leopard shows no signs of fading. The big cat is here to stay.
Which isn’t a problem for all those of us who I’ve managed to persuade that leopard is a neutral.
But for those of you who see it as a more formidable print, fear not fashion says ( which I appreciate is really neither here nor there that mixing your prints is one of the quickest ways to revitalise your wardrobe.
And a really cheap way of suddenly making all your old favourites seem super current.
There’s nothing better than shopping your wardrobe and pairing different items together that you may have thought of putting together previously.

Let me tell you, age is way more than a number. The passage of time leaves its mark. And that’s how it’s meant to be.
However, the fact that at 55 I can enjoy practicing teaching yoga with my 14-year old (and the rest of the fam) isn’t something I take for granted.
My kids have grown up watching me run, dance, swim, practice yoga, and are my most fervent cheerleaders.
In turn I support my eldest’s basketball and my youngest’s boxing.
We have gone on runs, worked out at the gym and practiced climbing and yoga together. We used to play racquetball at one point.
I trust that -just as my dad instilled the joy of movement in me- they will carry this on into their adulthood. All I can do is enjoy this with them and hope for the best in their future. The foundation has been laid down.
Would you like your kids to grow up enjoying movement (and inner stillness)? Model it for them. Involve them!
