A different kind of #TransformationTuesday
Not your typical fitspo post, so bear with me-
I want to hit on overcoming mental hurdles.
Feeling like you give your all and it still isn’t good enough.
Putting yourself 100% all in out there, and being rejected.
As typical humans, we tend to rest our identities in others. Especially in our partners.
I thought I had it all.
So what do you do when the unthinkable happens?
What happens when you’ve bet your forever and your identity on someone who breaks your heart?
Shattered your innocence, and broken you down lower than you had ever dreamed possible.
Their actions boldly told you that you aren’t good enough.
That no matter what you’ve done, or how happy you’ve been, it’s not enough.
I’d always given advice to friends on how to handle this, I was solemn about it.
But never actually been in their shoes.
The truth is, you don’t know what you’ll do until it’s YOU.
There something to be said about digging in and trying to save any shred of the pieces left.
One thing is for certain, once you’ve been to the depths of hell, you will never be the same again.
There’s not a single day you won’t think about it. There’s not a single day you won’t wonder if you’re enough.
As they say, time heals all wounds. Every day isn’t easy, but each day gets easier.
Be thankful for the wound that draws you nearer to God (or light, or peace, or whatever spiritual calling you identify to).
Recovering from a deep emotional pain is just as hard as any physical pain you could imagine. I didn’t/don’t do this on my own. THANK GOD for my best friends, my clients who are like family, and God for carrying me through and loving me in it all.
If you’ve read through this, bless your heart! ❤️
& never forget that no matter what you’re going through, what you’ve been through, or whatever comes... YOU ARE ENOUGH! Stand tall and absolute in all that you are! Because you are altogether beautiful-there is no flaw in you! 🙌🏼
