Another packed lunch: Pita bread filled with iceberg lettuce, self made vegan patties and hummus.
Patties (makes about 10 medium sized ones)
Chop and fry
Small can of kidney beans (drain and wash)
1/2 cup of water
Spices (I used) salt, pepper, curcuma, paprika, and savory
Blend ~2 cups of (fine) oats, add bit by bit, knead until you end up with a dough like consistency.
Shape into patties.
Fry "Fake" Hummus (super easy)
1 large can of chickpeas
~ 2/3 cups of water (more or less alters consistency)
Spices (I used salt, pepper and an middle Eastern spice mix with chilli and caraway)
