Happy Pakistan Day Peeps!
Quick question: Does anyone know what “cream soda” even means? Is it made of cream? Do you drink it mixed with cream? Do you apply cream on your face after having it? Or maybe it has no actual meaning and it just says that on the can because it’s a Pakistani drink and we can do what we want, Yo! *Thug lyfe 😎* Answer? Anyone?

Travel ALERT!!! it's the 23rd March long weekend and we have decided on a little toad trip up north. Mainly Nathiagali - nothing too far in the snow with a 2 month baby.
I took this picture while BabyYahya was napping and being super clingy and kid you not I haven't packed anythinh as yet!!! (it's 1am and we leave at 8am in the morning). It's not easy to pack with a little one and no help. Plus the drastic weather change for little one has me stressed. What to pack for the little one. How many warm clothes and layers and how many extra clothes. I've always been an over packer and with the baby packing, the overpackingsyndrome is doing no good to my nerves.
Wish me luck guys and I will keep you guys posted with pictures and videos on the snap stories and some pictures might make it to your feed too.

I personally really want to learn how to sacrifice an animal in the way of Allah! I mean us women never get to do it on Eid etc. - not that I've ever seen a woman doing so herself! The following hadith shall perhaps motivate you to learn the skill!
Narrated Ibn Ka`b bin Malik from his father: We had some sheep which used to graze at Sala'. One of our slavegirls saw a sheep dying and she broke a stone and slaughtered the sheep with it. My father said to the people, "Don't eat it till I ask the Prophet about it (or till I send somebody to ask the Prophet)." So, he asked or sent somebody to ask the Prophet, and the Prophet (ﷺ) permitted him to eat it. 'Ubaidullah (a sub-narrator) said, "I admire that girl, for though she was a slave-girl, she dared to slaughter the sheep . " [Bukhari]

•page 79•// 22nd march ‘18: today’s exam went bombbbbbb! I honestly can’t wait till I’m done with exams and can watch shows without worrying. Ugh.
Also, what’s your favourite show at the moment?
My current favourite is The Voice but my all time favourite is Friends OR Game of thrones.
I've been reading this beautiful book by Aanchal Malhotra @aanch_m - Remnants of Separation. It is a story of the items that people carried with them after the partition when they were forced to flee from their own homes.
Little objects that hold stories and absorbed the pain, struggle and sacrifice of the owners. It's been a deeply personal read for me because each page reminds me of my grandmom, my thamma in Bengali, who often talks about her home in Bangladesh before the partition. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She has dementia now and it's painful watching her lose her memory yet she still distinctively recounts stories of her home long before her marriage to my grandad. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stories so vivid in her mind, as she recounts them you can feel the longing in her voice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The ring in this photo was her object that represented home. A piece of a woman who exudes grace and beauty in the way she meticulously wears her sari and pulls back her hair in a bun. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's the reason photography means so much to me. Because personal photographs are my only remains of family, of a home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you are forced to leave home and you know you can't come back to it. What would you carry with you? Cuz everything you carry is going to carry the weight of home.
Thank you @shreyasenphotography for this beautiful submission. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

RIMMEL LONDON GLAM ‘EYES HD EYESHADOW PALETTES: A PRODUCT REVIEW
Image/Video: Image Product Review for @rimmellondonus@rimmellondonuk@rimmellondonfrance
The Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadow showcase a Union Jack design and comes with four shadows including a dual sided sponge applicator.
Sheen look, blends instantly, long lasting and easy to remove.
Apply an eye primer all over the eyelid then use applicator for eyeshadow, adjusting to the desired amount of shade required.
Who is this product for?
If you are just wondering to pop-up your eyes with glam then this product is certainly for you.
Personal (Honest/Unbiased) Review:
I tried this cute little Rimmel Glam Eyeshadow palette and I loved it. The formula is velvety smooth and it blends like butter. When I first saw these, I thought they would be too shimmery but they are not. They give off a soft sheen that is actually quite lovely.
Pros and Cons:
These are lovely shadows to have, gives a sheen look and for the price point (under 1,000/- PKR), they are very affordable.
The downside? The design! Though it is lovely to look at, it is very impractical. The main shadow is a large cross which is easy to get at with a brush or sponge. The other colours on the other hand are difficult to get to — even with the sponge applicator.
I think it would have been a better idea if they somehow made this palette larger.
