SCORE OFF MORE BALLS 🏏
🔊Sound On 🔊
One way to increase your scoring rate and relieve any ‘pressure’ you may feel is to score off more balls.
We get asked a lot about how to improve the strike rate (for batters) as batters get bogged down or stuck at one end. This video explains is one of the best ways to do it.
Rather than just patting back the good ball which results in lots of dots and therefore you feel like you have to play a big shot to score, look to score off every ball, even the good balls.
‘Be Busy’, which means be proactive and positive intent. Your energy and running between the wickets is something you can control. By turning the good balls into scoring options it means you don’t have to take more risk after a build up or pressure.
