Mongolian Lamb - one of my family’s favorites. I modified this famous Chinese dish to the western taste and it’s suitable for kids. Red pepper is optional if you prefer spicy.
1. Cut up brown onion. Marinate lamb strips with onion, Chinese cooking wine, cumin powder, Chinese five spice and salt for 30 minutes.
2. In a frying pan, heat up 1 table spoon of olive oil, add chopped up spring onion and garlic, fry the marinated lamb on medium high heat until lamb is turning brown.
3. Add soy sauce, sesame seed and stir fry for 5 minutes. Pour out excessive soup if there’s any. Keep frying for 5 minutes if prefer crispier fried lamb. Add ground red pepper if prefer spicy.
4. Turn off fire and sprinkle chopped coriander.

Gluten Free Banana Nut Bread (My Favorite)
Guys, flank steak is one of my all-time fave cuts of meat. It feeds a lot of people for not a lot of money, and as long as you properly marinate it it’s amazingly tender and flavorful since it has a good amount of fat. My go-to marinade includes (not always all, but always some) of the following:
- soy sauce
- Worcestershire sauce - lime juice - coffee (brewed)
- Apple cider or balsamic vinegar
- Dijon mustard - ginger - spices including garlic, onion, turmeric, curry, cumin, chili powder, ground coriander, cinnamon
Pick a flavor profile and then choose some acidic liquids, and then spices that go with them! .
Usually these steaks are inconsistent when it comes to thickness so decide whether you’re ok having different doneness. If not, consider cutting it in half and cooking the halves for different amounts of time. 7-8 minutes per side will produce a medium to medium-rare steak if left whole. .
Chimichurri is really just chopped herbs, red wine vinegar, oil, chili flakes and salt! It’s so flavorful for meat or fish - try it! I only had cilantro but traditionally it’s heavy on the parsley and oregano too. .

In honor of the first day of Oktoberfest in Munich, we have a #Whole30
compliant dinner of German potato salad, bratwurst and asparagus. This warm potato salad with a tangy vinegar dressing is delicious and tasty way to have a warm meal on the first day of fall! I was also happy to find a Whole30 compliant sausage at @wegmans.
After two weeks straight of work travel, I’m happy to be home for the next while making my own food!

I can’t even tell you how good these 4 Ingredient Mini Breakfast Poppers are.⠀
Simple 4-Ingredient Mini Breakfast Poppers. Perfect for breakfast or snack. Gluten, grain, dairy, soy, corn, sugar-free, and Paleo.⠀
▪️5 eggs, organic and free range⠀
▪️3 chicken & apple sausages, de-skinned (if you don't want the casing like me) and sliced into small pieces⠀
▪️⅔ tsp. baking soda⠀
▪️⅓ c. + 1.5 tbsp. almond meal⠀
▪️sea salt, pinch (okay, I realize this is the 5th ingredient, but you don't need it - I did!)⠀
1️⃣Preheat the oven to 375 degrees⠀
2️⃣Beat all ingredients together by hand⠀
3️⃣Pour mixture into the pan⠀
4️⃣Bake for approximately 12 minutes⠀
Not only is this breakfast, but it also makes an awesome on-the-go snack. My recipe made about 20 mini poppers. You can get as creative as you want with other herbs and spices.⠀

I love trying new recipes and have been in a total pie baking mood lately - which is perfect because today is the first official day of fall 😍🍂🍁luckily my Perfect Pie Crust recipe is good any time of year, with any kind of pie - strawberry rhubarb, pumpkin, or otherwise 🥧😅I want to share the recipe with you so you can jump on the baking train with me!
Pro Tip: I like to double or triple the recipe, then divide it into portions and freeze them. This way I have pie crust ready to go when the baking mood strikes! The dough will stay good in the freezer up to 2 months - wrap in cling wrap and then a layer of foil (unfortunately I don't think beeswax wrap is suited for this job and plastic wrap works better 🙁 I'll keep you posted when I find an alternative!) Baking some Paleo Chocolate chip cookies with a fall twist on this lovely Saturday night 😉
Preheat oven to 350 and Mix together:
1 tsp of coconut sugar
1 tsp of Himalayan pink sea salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1/8 tsp of nutmeg
1/4 cup of organic maple syrup
1 bar of organic dark chocolate (roughly chopped)
1/2 cup of coconut flour
Add coconut oil to a baking sheet and roll the dough in balls. Flatten them (they won’t expand on their own) and bake for 15 minutes (or until golden brown). Serve with coconut or almond milk (I add Cacao powder & collagen peptides for chocolate milk) 💕

ground beef and prepping some meat loaf for dinner. No recipe - just winging it. I’m pretty sure you can put anything in meatloaf *plus added ingredients stretch it a wee bit further! Since I’m only using 1 pound of ground beef, I will be sure to serve with plenty of sides so bellies are extra nourished and full 🌻
I wanted to share these delicious and guilt free paleo chocolate tarts I made this week. They are so Good! And they are free from soy, gluten, refined sugar, dairy, and grains! Let's just say they aren't lasting long 😉 the crust is only made with almond flour, coconut oil, and cocoa powder, plus a little maple syrup. The filling I made up from coconut oil, coconut butter, and a little maple syrup as well. Then topped then with coconut flakes, cashew butter, and fresh organic raspberries 👌😍 yum!!
