What do you do with a flat of freshly picked strawberries? If you are visiting your sister, her hubby, and your nieces, you have the kids make strawberry panckes (with adult supervision), of course! We just prepared our usual pancake recipe and sliced up some strawberries. Then we ladled the pancake batter into the pan, sprinkled the strawberries on the wet batter and topped with a little more batter (swipe). Once bubbles started forming on top and the sides started turning light brown, we flipped the pancakes and continued cooking for another 30-60 seconds. My sister made the kids maple whipped cream to go with them. Needless to say, breakfast was a hit! Pancakes with blueberries 🥞 For 4 servings 🥚 Flour - 4 cups 🥚 Milk - 3 cups 🥚 Eggs - 3 pieces 🥚 Baking Powder - 1 tsp 🥚 Sugar - to taste 🥚 Butter (melted) - 50 gr 🥚 Vanilla extract - 1 tsp 🥚 Blueberry - 0,5 cups 🥚 Vegetable oil (I used coconut oil) Flour, milk, eggs, baking powder, sugar, butter, mix well. (It is more convenient to beat everything with a mixer so that there are no lumps). Add the vanilla extract and blueberries, gently mix. (if the dough is liquid, add more flour) Fry in a heated frying pan so that the pancake starts to rise, until golden brown (about 1-2 minutes on each side) Serve with berries, maple syrup. Sunday mornings were made for pancakes. . . I’ve mentioned it on my Instagram stories a lot this week but, in case you missed it, @honeyandco (a gorgeous middle eastern restaurant in Fitzrovia) have released their second cookbook which I had preordered and came through my letterbox this week. Its already my favourite cookbook in my collection and is full of really gorgeous looking recipes. . . I’ve made a pretty good start at churning out 3 of those in the last 4 days; amazing, gooey white chocolate and orange cookies, crispy chicken thighs in a plum sauce but my hands down favourite has to be these Coconut and Lime pancakes topped with mango, raspberries and a lime syrup drizzle. They are, without a doubt, the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten (if I do say so myself). Refreshing, light, not sickly at all (which I often find is the case with pancakes), and just bloody delicious. . . I’m making myself hungry again looking at this picture so I’m going to wrap it up but my advice to you for this weekend is, once you’ve finished enjoying the ☀️ (seriously, England, keep it up), get on Amazon and order this cookbook.

Sunday morning feels 😍 my attempt at protein oats proved unsuccessful today (who curdles oats?!) so I thought I’d return to my trusty protein pancakes 🥞 • • I finished @thebodycoach 90 day plan in 2015 and although I don’t follow the same style of training (or eating really), the plan definitely helped me to reconnect with food, cooking and gain a fundamental understanding of nutrition. This has always been one of my favourite go-to meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner! • • I made this with 1 banana, 2 eggs, 1 egg white, 1 scoop casein and 1 scoop of oats. SUNDAY PALEO PANCAKE STACK!! I remade my probably easiest pancake recipe and I can only say: the are THE absolute best! ☕🥞🍓 I simply mixed ~1 ripe squished banana 🍌 ~2 eggs ~1 T coconut flour from @borchersfinefood ~A lot of cinammon (about 1/2 T) ~A pinch of salt In a bowl. Then I gave 1/2 tsp. ghee (@dm_dmbio ) into a heated pan on medium heat and added 1 T of the dough at a time. Fry for 2-3 min, then flip, and fry for another 2 min. So they are glutenfree, free of any added sugars, and a pretty amazing way to get rid of your overripe bananas without throwing them into the trash. Did I mention that they taste amazing? Iniziamo il weekend con questa ottima #colazione 🥞 ! ▫️ Ricetta dei pancakes Ingredienti: 2 uova 50 gr di fecola di patate 150 gr di farina (io ho usato il grano saraceno, in alternativa si può usare anche farina di castagne o di riso) 200ml di latte vegetale (avena, mandorla, riso, nocciole...) 1 pizzico di sale 2 cucchiaini di zucchero Una punta di lievito ▫️ Procedimento 👩‍🍳 Unire tutti gli ingredienti in uno shaker (o una bottiglietta da mezzo litro). Shakerare fino a rendere il composto omogeneo. Disporre su una padella tonda antiaderente una noce di burro o un filo d'olio. Adagiare poco impasto alla volta, in modo che la pastella ricopra il fondo della padella. Quando il pancake inizia a staccarsi, girare dall'altro lato e cuocere per ancora 2 minuti. Ripetere la cottura per tutti i pancakes. Si possono consumare con della frutta fresca, sciroppo d'acero o marmellata. Made the same pancakes as I did a few posts ago, but this time added in 2 Tbs of ground psyllium husk instead of flax seed and a tsp of cardamom instead of cinnamon. They came out fluffier than the last batch, and the flavor was excellent. Cardamom adds a subtle ginger twang that made these taste like heaven. . ORIGINAL POST RECIPE: These were the best pancakes I've made in the two years I've been eating low-carb! 2oz cream cheese (4g carbs) 4 eggs 1/4 tsp xanthan gum 1Tbs flax seed (.5g net carbs) 2 Tbs @swervesweetie 1/8 tsp baking soda 2Tbs almond flour (1g net carb) 1/2 scoop @musclesport_international lean whey vanilla ice cream protein powder (.5g net carb) 1 tsp cinnamon (1 net carb) Blend in a blender till blended. Blendy. Fry in butter, top with more butter. BANANA (blender) PANCAKES 🥞 🍌 🥞 Guys, these are not dense bricks like typical whole wheat pancakes are. They are light and fluffy and delicious! They take exactly 42 seconds longer than pancake mix from a bag. And once you start getting used to eating pancakes made from scratch, you won’t be able to stand eating those dry pancakes that come from a bag mix. The nutmeg is the secret ingredient that makes them delicious! Also, if you don’t have a banana, just make it without. It’s still pretty darn good! 🥞 🍌 🥞 In a blender combine: *1 1/2 Cups whole wheat flour (white flour totally works too!) *3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder *1 teaspoon salt *1 Tablespoon white sugar *1 1/4 cups milk *1 egg *3 Tablespoons butter, melted *1 ripe banana 1/4 tsp nutmeg . . . . Blend on high for 10 seconds or until well combined. You may have to blend, then scrape the sides of the blender down, and blend again. Cook on a greased griddle over medium high heat until bubbles appear, then flip and cook another minute or until done . . . . . Serve hot and with pure maple syrup. And buttah. PASSION PANCAKES 🥞 🌹Oven baked and super simple! These oven baked, buckwheat (a gluten-free, pseudo grain and seed), vegan, GF pancakes are my new go-to when the kids are hungry. The passionfruit adds the sweetness I crave being #sugarfree so it’s 👌. . INGREDIENTS: • 1 & 1/2 cups of organic buckwheat flour • 1 & 1/2 cups of almond or coconut milk • 1 and a half bananas mashed • 2 Tbs flaxseed • 1 tsp vanilla • 1 - 2 tsp cinnamon • 1 tsp baking powder • 1 tsp baking soda METHOD: 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. 2. Line 3 baking trays with baking paper and brush coconut oil along the paper. 3. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and spoon even amounts of mixture on the baking trays to create medium size circles. 4. Add blueberries on top. 5. Pop all three trays in the oven and bake for 10 or so mins. 6. Took a break from my smoothie bowl phase and it was so worth it! These FLUFFY MACA PANCAKES are so nutrient dense yet so fluffy and delicious they really are the perfect pancakes. if you don’t have maca powder on hand, and you are good in the kitchen, I’m pretty sure you can figure out how to do without it but nothing beats the butterscotch flavor it gives and when it’s paired with chocolate 😍😍. And did i mention they’re gluten free and paleo! Recipe serves 1: 2 eggs 2 tbsp almond flour 2 tbsp coconut flour (this can’t be substituted) 1 tbsp maca powder 1/4 tsp baking powder 3 tbsp almond milk 1 tsp of maple syrup or any sweetener (add more if you have a sweet tooth) Dash of cinnamon Pinch of salt Optional chocolate chips (@enjoylifefoods Whisk the eggs. add in the almond flour first, then the coconut flour and maca. Mix in the baking powder, salt and cinnamon. The mixture should be pretty thick at this point. Stir in the almond milk a tbsp at a time. Finally fold in chocolate chips if using. Cook on low heat (always ;)) enjoy! Happy Friday’s eve! Here are some Lemon & Poppyseed pancakes 🍋🥞 to brighten up your day 😊 . I like to keep my recipes nice and simple, using ingredients that most people have in their cupboards. All while keeping the calories nice and low with no added sugar. I topped these with a little bit of plain yoghurt that I added a couple of drops of stevia to and a dash of vanilla essence . To make 🍋🥞 -The zest of 1 lemon -15ml lemon juice -1 teaspoon baking powder -70g self-raising flour -50ml almond milk -2 eggs -10g poppy seeds -1 scoop (30g) of vanilla protein powder -1 teaspoon vanilla essence -1 tablespoon (5g) psyllium husk -1 teaspoon liquid sweetener of choice . Cook on a low to medium heat till bubbles then flip +-570kcal for all the mixture divide by number of pancakes 😉 . If you have tried any of these recipes I would love some feedback, also if you made any variations or tweaked the recipes slightly please give me a shout! I’m not afraid of constructive criticism 😉

BANANA BREAD BABY 🍌 🍞 . . I always have so many brown spotty bananas so i put them to good use and make a banana bread. . 👩🏽‍🍳INGREDIENTS: 🥄 240g of oat flour or plain flour. 🥄1 tsp baking soda 🥄1/2 tsp baking powder 🥄1/2 tsp salt 🥄1 tsp cinnamon 🥄360g of mashed ripe banana 🥄100g of yogurt, i used alpo go on. 🥄150g of agave or honey (about 1/2 a cup) 🥄60ml of milk, i used almond 🥄2 tsp vanilla extract 🥄About 1/2 cup of choco chips or chopped nuts or raisons etc - optional. . 🥄METHOD: 🔥 Pre head an oven to 180*C. 🔥Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. 🔥Pour the mixture into a lined load tin. 🔥Bake in the pre heated oven for about 40 mins. 🔥It is cooked when you can put a knife in it and the knife 🔥comes out clean. 🔥Leave to cool and enjoy! 🔥I suggest covering it or putting it in a container in the fridge as it seems to be nicer the second day. . 💁🏽‍♀️It is super tasty with some peanut butter spread on top. #emilysworld #staygoofy

Олеся, у меня теперь твои сырные сконы на очереди )). ⠀ Если вам нужен хороший рецепт, да чтобы не тратить уйму времени, то без @marjoriolesya и ее проекта вам не обойтись )). ⠀ Рецепт я напишу со своими корректировками. Как обычно заменила муку и сахар. Оригинальный вариант на сайте Nehudeem.ru с очень подробным описанием. Даже ребёнок точно справится )). ⠀ Ингредиенты: ⠀ мука цз - 80 г мука полбяная - 80 г яйцо - 1 шт сметана - 300 г сода - 1 ч л без горки масло растительное - 1 ст л мёд - 2 ст л соль - щепотка ⠀ Приготовление: ⠀ 1. В миске смешайте яйцо, сметану, мёд, соль. 2. Ложку соды без горки залейте лимонным соком и тщательно размешайте. Добавить к сметане, влить столовую ложку масла и размешать венчиком или вилкой. 3. Всыпьте муку. Ее может потребоваться немного больше, смотрите по консистенции теста. Оно должно быть как густая сметана. 4. Готовьте на среднем огне. Перед приготовлением первых оладий смажьте сковороду тонким слоем растительного масла. ⠀ На все у меня ушло минут пятнадцать. Здорово!

When weekday breakfasts look like weekend breakfasts🙌🏼 It can be done with a bit of prep! I made the batter for these pancakes earlier and stored it in the fridge, poured 1/3 cup of the batter (twice) into a pan, plopped on some blueberries and then cracked two eggs in the very same pan! Done in 15 minutes max! . For the pancakes, I used @constancelyeating 's recipe with a few modifications: 🥞1 cup @bobsredmill whole wheat flour 🥞Cinnamon to taste 🥞2 tsp sugar 🥞1 tsp baking powder Combine the dry ingredients above in a bowl and then combine the following in a separate bowl: 🥞2 eggs 🥞1 cup milk of choice (I used water since I was out of milk) Once the wet is combined, add it to the dry. Also remember, the secret to fluffy pancakes is decreasing the number of times you stir the batter! Don't overdo it. Try not to exceed 10 stirs! . . You can sub the sugar for maple syrup or honey. 🥞🥞🥞Und hier kommt endlich das Pancake-Rezept: Zuerst in einer Schüssel 240ml Milch, 2 Eier, 2 Teelöffel Vanille-Extrakt und 25g flüssige Butter geben und alles sehr gut verquirlen. In einer zweiten Schüssel 210g Mehl, 50g Zucker, eine Prise Salz, 9g Backpulver (ca. einen vollen Teelöffel) und 5g Natron (ca. 1 gestrichenen Teelöffel) geben. Nun die flüssige Milch-Mischung zu der Mehl-Mischung geben und alles grob miteinander vermischen. Es sollte kein glatter Teig werden. Klümpchen sind super und lassen die Pancakes besser schmecken. In einer Pfanne Öl, keine Butter, mit einem Zewa verteilen (so ist das Öl gleichmäßig verteilt und nicht zu viel in der Pfanne drin). Nun mit einem Löffel kleine Häufchen in eine Pfanne geben, die Pfanne darf nicht zu heiß sein, sonst verbrennen die Pancakes direkt! Bei Blasenbildung umdrehen. Auch wenn Ihr euch nicht traut, einfach versuchen. 😅Wartet ihr zu lange, brennen die Pancakes an!!! Das Rezept reicht etwa für 9 Stück und lässt sich Prima vorbereiten und im Kühlschrank aufbewahren. Belegen kann man sie mit allem was man liebt. We had pancakes for lunch today because: well, summer holidays! But this one is a much healthier recipe that uses almond flour and hemp seeds. Ingredients: Almond flour 1 1/2 cup All purpose flour 1/2 cup Egg 1 Baking powder 3 1/2 teaspoon Butter 3 tablespoon (melted) Sugar 1 tablespoon Milk 1 1/4 cup Salt just a pinch Hemp (or chia seeds) 1 tablespoon Maple syrup Blueberries How to: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl (except the maple strip and blueberries). Pour on a heated pan in a small circle. Flip when one side is done and cook the other side. Serve with maple syrup and blueberries (or any fruit your children like). I love using frozen blueberries. The almond flour pancake is much thinner so keep the heat on low plus flip early to not burn it. You can pile up the pancakes on each other to serve to the kids. This batter will make 8 small pancakes. #pancakerecipe

Heres what you're going to need: 1 3/4 Cups - of Pancake Mix or general baking flower 1 Cup of whole milk or almond milk 1tbsp - of Vanilla extract 10-15 drops - of liquid stevia depending on how sweet you go 1 Banana 1/4 cup of crushed walnuts 1/2 cup of blueberries 1 egg 1 large bowl 1 whisker to whip it (is that the right word?) 1 flat pan, I like cast iron Grape seed oil or whatever pan lube you like to use Syrup - however much of whatever syrup your down with, I love Maple syrup. 1 tbsp of butter Step 1: Pre Heat a Flat Pan and lube it up with grapeseed oil - Medium, to medium-high. This side needs about 30% less cooking time than the first side. When it's golden brown, take it off the pan and plate it up. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you've cooked the number of pancakes you want to smash. Step 6: Once you've got those cakes stacked up, you've got to add your toppings strategically.
