I may be overly sensitive but getting little gems like this of my kids automatically gets my eyes a little teary. Elias is my last baby and although he will be two in a few short months I feel like he’s still my baby. On the other hand... I miss the little tiny newborn noises he used to make, the lack of control over his little limbs, the cute crosseyed stares and unintentional smiles. When it comes to his journey from newborn to big boy his body had to develop at such an incredible pace and I feel like this picture represents that so well. What I’m curious about and what I pray for daily is that once he passes the door to adulthood he will find greatness on the other side.

I’ll be honest, I do a lot of parenting on the corner of this couch…sometimes horizontally with a pillow and a blanket (fine, most times). Alex and I have given Zoe a nickname and its Ms. Spits A Lot, that’s why we keep a steady stock of @theroyalekittens
facial tissue paper for clean ups in our family room…when Noah’s not stealing them that is. With a product that's made in Canada, for every room in your house @theroyalekittens

Being a mommy is the greatest gift the universe has given me. I love this face more than anything 💗💗💗
Only two plum clips left💜 lots of boys are going to be styling in our fall clip collection👶🏼
Just the one violent meltdown today from Little Bear but it was epic and lasted over an hour at school pick up. The secret to calming him down? Big Bear tripped and fell down a hole on the way back to the car. Thank god for slapstick (no bears were hurt in the making of this story)
All the Autumn feels in our beautiful new clothes from @another.fox
I love that the majority of our family traditions take place outdoors. I’ve always loved being outdoors and I hope that my kids will grow up feeling that same way.
The Old Town, unsurprisingly, is the oldest part of Stockholm. It's certainly the tourist's go-to destination, but that doesn’t detract from its architectural and otherwise urban beauty.
The baby “advice” you get 😂 isn’t it crazy how everyone seems to have an opinion about how you should handle your child and tries to pass it off as “advice” on how to be a good parent 🙈
So far we’ve heard “don’t let him sleep in your bed” “don’t bottle feed him” “don’t use formula” “don’t use that brand of diapers” “don’t eat this or that while breastfeeding” ”he looks hungry is he getting enough food” the list could and will definitely be longer 👶🏼💙 what did people use to tell you when you became a parent?

Book report time - in kindergarten!!! We actually love helping Gracie with her “homefun” and it’s the coolest thing to watch her grow, thrive and learn. 💞Get involved with your kiddos! It makes such a difference in their little lives.
I learned that being well-dressed is a form of politeness. Like most parents I know, I'm on a budget and pay close attention to specials, sales & deals. When it comes to kids clothes, they literally wear their clothes 6 months then grow out of everything. Here are a few tips to keep your babies stylish without spending too much:
-- I find it SUPER helpful to ask for the specific things you need. Family & friends always ask what the baby needs so I tell them. Right now I need pants and winter shoes. It helps you make the most out of gifting and actually use everything you get.
--Don't be afraid to ask for hand-me-downs or shop for 2nd hand clothing for kids. Sites like @thredup
are awesome for everything from onesies to school backpacks. I've even bought stuff with the tags still on.
--Check out the sale section & get on the mailing list to receive coupons ALWAYS. Stores like @target @oldnavy @hm @carters @amazon @uniqlo
have great mailing lists and offer up crazy specials all the time. --Even more expensive stores have sales. Buy things in advance. I love buying Winter coats in Summer and Summer clothes in the Winter. I usually go for a few sizes up and stockpile. That way you don't buy everything at once and you can have fresh, new clothes for the current season. --Set your monthly budget. I usually put a solid $50-$100 aside a month for clothes but whatever yours is, just stick to it. I try not to make huge, one time purchases. I buy little by little and always on sale. Sidenote: this is also how I buy Holiday gifts. I start buying stuff in August!
--Hit your local outlets!
--Lastly, team up with other families to give YOUR hand-me-downs & maximizing clothes. Waste is wack. Let's work to be better!

I love these crazies! 😊 Life will always be busy, but if something is a priority to you, you will find time to fit it into your life. At first it might seem hard, however, as time goes by, it becomes a part of your normal routine.
When god sends you a blessing you don’t ask why he sent it 🖤
"This one is my favorite mommy, it smells beautiful!" Oh my little wildflower, stay wild and free for as long as you can.
Oh! And stop growing so fast!
Tough and exhausting do not begin to describe how the past week was for us. Let's just say we went through a very terrifying health scare and for the first time ever, I was anxious 24/7 (literally!). The good news is, after so many nights of little to zero sleep, Robin is finally back to sleeping like a ninja. #littleninjasleeps #momlife
